You know how Nike goes. They wanna do a little set up for it like they do all the other ones. -

Exactly. They need to have their fashion show lol u -
j_crazyI'd like to see a silver helmet with a big scarlet buckeye leaf on it.

Just FYI. Nike didn't put those other uni's together. If I remember correctly, the bigten network hired someone to do changes to all the teams just to see unique and odd thoughts. No way they'd ever put that uniform on the field though -

lhslep134The photo leaked above (through the OSU shop) is indeed the uniform we'll be wearing on the 24th. I've seen the whole uniform, but I'm not allowed to forward the pic.

I won't believe it until I see it on a valid link...btw, why not?lhslep134;1320279 wrote:The photo leaked above (through the OSU shop) is indeed the uniform we'll be wearing on the 24th. I've seen the whole uniform, but I'm not allowed to forward the pic. -

Because his text said "you're not allowed to show anyone" -

Well then, if that's what "his" text said, then so be it -
jordo212000Is "he" Thaddeus Gibson?

Midstate, these are the jerseys, so me not being able to forward the pic doesn't really matter.Terry_Tate;1318712 wrote:
Here's the actual jerseys apparently.
I still think a well done black Ohio State jersey would look unbelievably awesome. -

I was completely kidding. -

No worries! Once it's released you can post it. Nike will have lights all over it, can't always see them great from there -

Are these the pants and helmets as well?lhslep134;1320511 wrote:Midstate, these are the jerseys, so me not being able to forward the pic doesn't really matter. -

Personally I don't want OSU to wear black....ever.
My thoughts exactly. These are a throwback to the '80's-'90's when they had the biggest jersey numbers in college football. OSU's previous pro combat uniforms have all been inspired by the jerseys worn by a past national champion, and since they are honoring the 2002 championship team at the final game, it would make sense that their pro combats would be designed to honor them. Since the 2002 jerseys were very similar to what we have now, a throwback to the '90's makes sense. My assumption would be that the jersey's won't be quite as straight forward as they appear in this picture, but will have some subtle crap on it too.
While I've not liked the pasted pro combat uniforms I've also not minded them much. I really hate using alternate helmets though. I'd prefer to see them use their normal helmets. I also hate seeing them wear them against Michigan. I'd rather them wear them against anybody else. And I agree that an all black uniform for OSU would be stupid.
Midstate01;1318779 wrote:Remember Meyer said jersey changes WERE coming...
Indeed he did. Eleven Warriors pointed out that the picture that was on the OSU site was in a frame behind Meyer in his office during the Training Days special on ESPN and they assumed that it was likely this year's pro combat or just what the jersey's would look like going forward.
So a picture of a jersey that obviously isn't the current jersey on the store portion of OSU official athletic site isn't a valid link?vball10set;1320303 wrote:I won't believe it until I see it on a valid link...btw, why not? -
AutomatikI take my earlier comment back. I actually liked the ones they wore last year for Wisky game, but before that....not a fan.
These new ones are the best yet, kind of like an updated version of the Eddie George era unis....nothing too drastic.
I still don't like the glove hand symbol thing Nike is doing, but these ones look ok compared to the past. -

Just because it's a pic of a different jersey on their store site doesn't confirm that this is the one they're planning on wearing for the tsun game, does it?krambman;1320797 wrote: So a picture of a jersey that obviously isn't the current jersey on the store portion of OSU official athletic site isn't a valid link? -

I actually disagree with 11w. I don't think it's the same as the one behind Meyer at his desk. I have that pic somewhere. Ill look for it. -
Midstate01
Looks completely different. I think these are the permanent change. -

Technically no, but it was a brain fart by OSU/Nike that revealed what the jerseys are.vball10set;1320820 wrote: Just because it's a pic of a different jersey on their store site doesn't confirm that this is the one they're planning on wearing for the tsun game, does it?
