JU-ICEIs Gardner the starter the rest of the year?

Honestly, I think Robinson's injury says yes. He grimaced in pain today when him and Gardner celebrated. He still can't grip the football 2 weeks after he went out. I think he is done, until maybe the bowl game.JU-ICE;1317589 wrote:Is Gardner the starter the rest of the year? -
FatHobbitThat was one hell of a catch to setup the field goal at the end of the game. He did a great job staying focused on the ball.

Is it Robinson's elbow, is it the nerves emanating from the elbow, or both?WebFire;1317598 wrote:Honestly, I think Robinson's injury says yes. I think it's just the nerves IN the elbow.vball10set;1317790 wrote:Is it Robinson's elbow, is it the nerves emanating from the elbow, or both? -

I'll tell you the reason why I said great. With about 2 minutes left, Gardner throws a bad ball, and it gets intercepted. When he comes back out, looking at :30 on the clock, he has A LOT of adversity and pressure on him that continues into OT. HE made the throws (and ran the TD) to win the game. It's great because it gave (should have anyway) him all the confidence in the world.vball10set;1317524 wrote:Great win? You're really lowering your standards there, ain't ya'..... it was a good win, and believe me, coming from a fan of the team who escaped disaster in Bloomington, that's a compliment
It was great because it allowed a young QB to get a second chance on his mistake and lead the team to a victory.
Now, if it were Denard in there, it'd just be a good win/ugly win, much like the 2010 "basketball" game vs. Illinois. -
vball10set^^^again, your definition (ie expectations for) of a "great" tsun win isn't what it used to be...that being said, it's your opinion, so it's all good.

I don't think he means great as far as the history book goes.vball10set;1317820 wrote:^^^again, your definition (ie expectations for) of a "great" tsun win isn't what it used to be...that being said, it's your opinion, so it's all good. -

Sounds like the ulnar nerve is the one giving him fits. They showed him in pregame and he couldn't throw the ball with any zip...as in none. Looked like a 3rd grader throwing.vball10set;1317790 wrote:Is it Robinson's elbow, is it the nerves emanating from the elbow, or both? -

If he's back to throwing like normal, why did Gardner get the start?WebFire;1317848 wrote:Looked like a 3rd grader throwing. -

I knew someone would take advantage and make a joke. But I thought it would be vball.GoChiefs;1317850 wrote:If he's back to throwing like normal, why did Gardner get the start? -

WebFireLittle fun fact...since the NCAA adopted the overtime format in 1996, Michigan is 8-1, tied with South Florida for best in the nation.

Notice at the :35 mark; Denard and Devin celebrate Devin's TD run, and Denard noticeably grimaces in pain because they bump elbows.WebFire;1317876 wrote: -
