Attendance drops 2 percent in opening month. Average announced attendance is 47,181. Four of the Big Ten's six-highest drawing schools are up this season: Michigan, Nebraska, Wisconsin and Michigan State. Ohio State is barely down, and Penn State is down 3 percent.

Since attendance is part of the home advantage here's a list f the 35 least feared stadiums including Akron, Kent St. Ohio U, 6 other MAC schools and Northwestern. ...stupid slide show.

WebFireEven with sanctions, I'm surprised OSU is down with having Meyer in his first year. With that said, it is interesting that the 2 B1G schools with sanctions this year have lower attendance.

BigAppleBuckeyeThis doesn't surprise me, but only because I follow Ohio State on Facebook and I am consistently seeing tickets available for home games when that never used to be the case.
