How bad would the Chiefs stomp Alabama?

Apparently Spurrier thinks Alabama could beat an NFL team.
http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/8579380/steve-spurrier-says-alabama-crimson-tide-beat-nfl-teams
"Alabama, gosh, they look like they could beat a couple of those NFL teams that I've watched on Sundays," Spurrier told "The Dan Patrick Show" on Wednesday. "I think a lot of the oddsmakers out there, that usually know what's going on, I'd guess Alabama would be favored by a little bit."

queencitybuckeyeBy three or four touchdowns, minimum.
-
Pick6Spurrier is an idiot.
-
Fly4FunReally a dumb topic and just SEC people trying to boast about their conference...
SEC! SEC! SEC! -
Gblockcheifs would roll them up..however i think alabama could get more than 7 yards rushing against the 49ers unlike arizona did the other nigh
-
FatHobbitWhat does Spurrier know about beating NFL teams?
-
gorocks99Chiefs by at least 50. Their o-line would blow Alabama's d-line on their backsides.

vball10setRidiculous statement by the head ball coach, ridiculous I say.
-
lhslep134Do you guys think Spurrier was being serious? I mean he says something he clearly knows isn't true about Alabama the week of their biggest game of the year. Quite the gamesmanship from the HBC.
-
Heretic
Or he might be trying to get attention away from how he used classy comments from Clemson's Sweeney about Lattimore as an opportunity to take a dig at him, since at least Yahoo pointed out his lack of class spoiling the moment.lhslep134;1310005 wrote:Do you guys think Spurrier was being serious? Dr. KnOiTaLLSpurrier was simply blowing smoke up their rear... Definitely gamesmanship. This comment was talked about on PTI, and the point they brought up is this, Alabama has 15-20 NFL players on their squad. The Chiefs have 52. Simply put, just an absolutely ridiculous comment.
-
TiernanJust another reason there should be a kill bounty on Spurrier.

I wouldn't bet on that.Gblock;1309932 wrote:cheifs would roll them up..however i think alabama could get more than 7 yards rushing against the 49ers unlike arizona did the other nigh -
ernest_t_bassI bet Alabama couldn't even beat Notre Dame, b/c this is Notre Dame's year!

I hope we get to see it on Jan. 7thernest_t_bass;1310056 wrote:I bet Alabama couldn't even beat Notre Dame, b/c this is Notre Dame's year! -
Classyposter58KC would win by 3-4 scores easy. It's like when Mooney played St Iggy this year. Mooney is very good, has a ton of talent, but those guys are on a whole other level and it wasn't even close
-
Azubuike249-6 Chiefs...in OT.
-
sportswizuhrdI'm surprised that some of you haven't said that Alabama would pay some NFL players to play for them if this happened.

I think Alabama has more than 15-20 players, but they are all less than Rookies where KC has a full team of NFL talent.Dr. KnOiTaLL;1310019 wrote:Spurrier was simply blowing smoke up their rear... Manhattan BuckeyeAlabama wouldn't score, the Chiefs would score every possession unless Cassel made a truly bonehead pass.
There is a big difference from a physicality standpoint in the NFL - when you are a professional there aren't restrictions on practicing or weight lifting. I mean when a standout like Mark Ingram can't it get done in the NFL you know that college success does not necessarily translate to NFL success. -

Exactly. A good college basketball team has a much better chance of winning against a pro team than in football. I'm still about 99% sure that Kentucky last year could stand toe to toe with the Bobcats.Manhattan Buckeye;1310389 wrote:Alabama wouldn't score, the Chiefs would score every possession unless Cassel made a truly bonehead pass.

I'll give them three just because of the Chiefs coach. He'd do something stupid enough to allow one big play and 'bama gets into FG range. -
