Navy 31 Indiana 30

Great comeback and defensive stand to top the Hoosiers. The end of this game was nerve racking.

The Admiral was in the House and spoke to the team after the game.

To add to that sentiment senior outside linebacker Keegan Wetzel scored a perfect 1600 on his SAT and is believed to be the only current FBS player in the country to accomplish such a feat.:)

Randy cross was very complimentary on the TV broadcast of the effectiveness of the slot-backs against Indiana.

Navy beat writer Bill Wagner seems to agree based on his article.

"...Greene and Snelson teamed to put forth one of the better slotback performances during the current triple-option era, combining for 141 yards rushing while also delivering some bone-crushing blocks.

...Snelson was simply phenomenal as a lead blocker, repeatedly wiping out linebackers and defensive backs to clear the way for Greene. Television commentator Todd Christensen absolutely raved about the blocks being delivered by Snelson, who was credited with a career-high 13 knockdowns. Slotbacks coach Danny O’Rourke responded “no question” when asked if it was Snelson’s finest performance in a Navy uniform...."

I have always thought that Stanford, Northwestern, Vanderbilt & Duke should play each other every year.
