who would win?

They couldn't even beat Purdue by 17. Or Michigan. Or Stanford.

I can bet money Stanford would beat Ohio st. Stanford is a very good team and yes they got upset by Washington but they just beat USC and had to turn around and play a Thursday game at Washington. That's tough for anyone to do, that's why I hate Thursday games. As for the question I think ND would win by about 7-10. I think ND would be able to run all over Ohio st especially is Kline is playing lol. It would be an interesting match up though

Go back to your hole Ohio st fans. The only reason your undefeated is because of a shitty ass schedule ;)

Same, its just laughable that ND is having a good season for once and all of the sudden their fans think they would destroy beat OSU comfortably.

What a joke of a thread. Might as well ask, who would win? A D-3 school or the New England Patriots.

I guess we'll never know, maybe Ohio State's players should stop receiving illegal benefits left and right and the head coach should stop using ineligible players and we could have found out in a bowl game...

I believe that behavior has stopped. I'm not sure if you are aware but those guys are gone (players and coach).

But I think ND fans should be thankful OSU can't face them in a bowl game. I think all of us remember what happened last time.

That was 7 years ago? Time to let go it would be interesting to see how Braxton would be able to run against notre dames d. I do think it would be a very good game though. Sucks it can't happen

Hey, to be fair a ND fan brought up the past so figured I'd bring up the closest game between the two. Before that I was discussing the present season; the past was brought up by one of your own.

Maybe Note Dame should stop being pussies and join the B1G instead of the ACC and they could find out who the better team is every year?

Lol yeah that's it notre dame is so scared of Ohio state they don't want to join the big 10. And there not joining a conferences for football unless they absolutely have to. So how's Troy smith doing for the 49ers?

Probably about the same as Clausen and the Panthers.

How is Alex Smith doing for the 49ers? Saw the offense put up a measly 3 points yesterday.

Lol I always thought Clauson would blow in the nfl. He thinks smith should be starting for the 49ers big difference

He has actually played pretty good except for the last game. Where's Troy smith at? 3rd string for a ufl team still?

How many ND fans think they would destroy OSU though? I'm sure some OSU fans out there think the Buckeyes could beat the shit outta Bama and Oregon. Overzealous fans aren't unique to the Fighting Irish fan base. Honestly, I think most of us on here have been pretty level-headed and realistic this season.

I can only think of one, and his name rhymes with "peeper" :o

And to be fair, some of those on this thread who picked ND to win in this fantasy matchup were non-ND fans and a couple/few were OSU fans. Other than the blowout predictions...let's not act like they are all "homer" predictions.

Maybe on here but there are more irrational ones out there...just like all of the other fan bases have.

I think it would be a good game, but Notre Dame would win.

I'm honestly still waiting for that wtf game ND has had recently. It's kind of nice not to experience that yet lol
