USC will get their shot against Oregon and Notre Dame. They actually aren't out of the national title picture, as scary as that sounds. With that said, what have they proven to show they are a top 10 team? -

I think Oklahoma probably deserves to be inthe top 10 too. I think South Carolina, and LSU would be favored to beat every team ahead of them, except for Oregon and Alabama. They are probably 7-10 points better than the rest of those teams.Azubuike24;1294686 wrote:1. Alabama

Azubuike24We'll see...in about 12 hours when next week's odds come out.
Florida will be -5 vs South Carolina, so I don't think that's accurate about the Gamecocks being favored. -

I don't think I meant favored.. just meant 7-10 pts better. (In my humble opinion) of course.Azubuike24;1294693 wrote:We'll see...in about 12 hours when next week's odds come out.

Azubuike24Haha, fair enough...
It should still be a very difficult game for Florida, who has struggled with the offensive line. Being at home in the Swamp though... -
SpeedofsandFlorida was minus 2 Olinemen today. Wilson didn't even travel, Harrison went out the first series. Rick Robey's kid played well at center.

MulvaAlabama is 7-10 points better than everyone. At minimum. They would have to play a terrible game for anyone else to beat them in my opinion. I don't think Florida, Notre Dame, Oregon State, Kansas State, or Ohio State are that good.
Oregon is probably #2, but I could easily see them losing at USC. -

And to the posters who have Oregon St and Ohio State in front of LSU..........ROGL. Ohio State is undefeated because they have played absolutely nobody and barely beat most of the nobodies. Still wondering about how good ND and KSU are. Cant wait to see where they are ranked at the end of the season. USC, OK, and LSU are all still in the title hunt with one loss. I dont think any other one loss teams have a shot. Looking forward to the UF and USCe game and KSU vs WVU game. I think KSU finishes with 2 losses and ND gets beat by USCw (and USCw loses to Oregon twice)
Believer, your polls are usually pretty good (including this one which looks really good) -

I agree to the most point. But, who have they really played? I think they are better than LSU, but coming to Death Valley for a night game will be tough for Bama, considering LSU is 36-1 for night games at home under Miles. I worked last night, so I havent watched the LSU/USC game......so I dont know how good either one looked. But, proud of my tigahs for beating the team that whipped UGA.Mulva;1294758 wrote:Alabama is 7-10 points better than everyone. At minimum. Btw, Clowney made threats to LSU's QB before the game. How did that work out for him? No sacks. Maybe he should play for the Saints.

Except LSU has played North Texas!, Idaho!, Auburn!, and least we forget Towson and yet they're ranked 78th nationally in total offense. And if we learned one thing last year cgw; after all your stupid rants, predictions, and seemingly psychic readings of all things college football, it goes like this. Lsu is a one dimensional team who continues to make you, cats gone wild, look like an idiot.cats gone wild;1294792 wrote:This is a joke, right?

cats gone wildSweet, the troll comes out of hiding after 10 months. But, he cant remember that LSU beat TONS of ranked teams last year (including Oregon and the champs), and beat the #3 team this year. Yeah, I was way off on my predictions last year. So how has LSU made me look like an idiot when they have had more success than 99% of teams the past 2 seasons and this year? I guess one dimensional hasnt hurt them too bad, has it? This year, Im off par on LSU due to EIGHT injuries/suspensions and a QB who everyone thought would be great. But hey, LSU is still in the title hunt unlike a team who gives up basketball scores for points. My predictions last year/years past, and about USC were pretty accurate. A lot more accurate then most people. I notice the reps come from two other trolls. One who was way off on how good USC was, lol. At least LSU has had 3 great seasons in a row instead of vacating wins one year, going under .500 last year, and having another year where the season doesnt matter. Congrats on being a non factor in college football. Ouch.

Why all the hostility cats gone wild? You should be thanking me for letting you know a couple months in advance about LSUs 80 plus ranked total offense last year. Also, I'm not sure what all the low blows on OSU are about because I'm not an OSU fan, but it makes perfect sense to me to come on a board with Ohio in the name and call troll then go on to trash a team that I don't follow but is loved by the majority of the user base. I jumped the bandwagon baby, Leezeeanna born and bred circa 2007, geaux Tigers! -

Try 57th to finish last year and 49th this year (improving). And its against a defensive conference. I highly doubt it was ever 80. It was probably better than 57th last year all year until the last few games. Add that to a great defense and a team is good. Nice try.bradmaynard;1295556 wrote:Why all the hostility cats gone wild? Notice alot of the teams with high offensive #'s are nobody schools. http://espn.go.com/college-football/statistics/team/_/stat/total/sort/netTotalYards -

I highly doubt 80. They finished 57th, so Im sure in the beginning of the season it was no where near 80 since they were killing teams and averaging near 40 points. You need to factor in that they RUN the ball most of the time, and they play in a conference that plays defense (not the Big 12). When you have one of the top defenses in the country, you dont need to score tons of points. So.....I dont see what you are getting at. QB play is pitiful this year and the past couple years. I will give you that. But, they are getting along just fine. If they had a great QB, they would probably be unstoppable, but for some reason they havent had one since JR.bradmaynard;1295556 wrote:Why all the hostility cats gone wild? You've once again proven your fundamental misunderstanding of the effect of turnover margin, defensive play, and special teams on field position. ESPN factored in scoring which is irrelevant to total offense given the fact that scoring is a multifaceted effort performed by all three units (especially in LSUs case). Look here cats gone wild http://cfbstats.com/2011/leader/national/team/offense/split01/category10/sort01.html and you will start to understand that the true source of our beloved Tigers' scoring comes not from the offense, but from forced turnovers and solid special teams play resulting in field position that even our awful offense can capitalize on. Although this method can be successful, if you run in to a team who doesn't turn the ball over and plays special teams well this can happen http://scores.espn.go.com/ncf/boxscore?gameId=320090099cats gone wild;1295561 wrote:Try 57th last year and 49th this year (improving). It's amazing to me that you've been an LSU fan for nearly six years and have yet to discover the method to their success. But once again, you are welcome for me showing you the inner workings of our favorite cfb team. You should probably call me a troll and block me again :'( -

*Links working after I quoted it......Btw, who is your college football team. I know you like the bears in the NFL (if I remember right), but who's your cfb team? Or do you just come here to troll?
