Why is Mack Brown still employed?

Trueblue23Texas looks TERRIBLE and they have a ton of talent... Oklahoma is throttling them. Not good for Mack Brown.

MulvaI'm just going to piggyback on your thread and ask will Gene Chizik even make it to next year? Seems crazy to ask 2 years after a national title but without Cam he looks like the guy who went 5-19 at Iowa State and had Auburn fans enraged with the hire.
They're extremely lucky not to be 0-6 right now, and haven't even been close against Arkansas and Ole Miss. They're probably looking at 4-8 at best, and they might go winless in the SEC. -

I would be pissed if I were an Auburn fan.Mulva;1294050 wrote:I'm just going to piggyback on your thread and ask will Gene Chizik even make it to next year? goosebumpsWhy was texas ranked so high? They went 8-5 last year and haven't beaten anyone this year.

Why is anyone ranked this year? Whole bunch of mediocrity, hell let's just call it crap, in college football this year.goosebumps;1294062 wrote:Why was texas ranked so high? They went 8-5 last year and haven't beaten anyone this year. -

Outside of maybe the top 10, the rest is just shit thrown at a wall because someone has to be 11-25 -

I think even giving the Top 10 as legit is stretching it. WVU's defense is absolutely pathetic, no way is that really a top 10 team.ts1227;1294066 wrote:Lol, basically.

said_aouitaAlabama is a clear number one.
imo- anyone (else) in the top 10 could beat each other on any giving night, especially depending if a home or away game. -
GoChiefs
I'd say it's Alabama...then a step below them is Oregon...then the rest of the Top 10. Not sure many could beat Oregon either.said_aouita;1294134 wrote:Alabama is a clear number one.

Azubuike24I think K-State and Notre Dame have both had quality wins and have looked good. Along with Oregon and the winner of Florida/South Carolina (if USC wins tonight) would really have something to hang their hats on. Oregon State with a really good win today as well.
They should be able to take care of Utah and Washington. Then they get Arizona State in Corvallis and Stanford on the road.
Alabama is at UT next weekend, vs MSU the weekend after and then at LSU. I think given the situations, their schedule is the easiest remaining considering the only 3 teams who could beat them, IMO, 2 are at home. -
MulvaI haven't seen any team this year that's in the same ballpark as bama. Even Oregon. I would favor them by double digits against everyone.
