It seems like only yesterday when the news first broke about our good buddy Jerry and his old pal Joepa. Alot has happened since then and much has been written and talked about. But when its all said and done is the 30 to 60 yrs really enough? I mean sure he'll die in prison but don't you think one of those 200 yr sentences that Texas judges sometimes hand out would have been more fitting? -
ernest_t_bassLife. Simply put. Life

What he said. For Jerry, 30-60 years equals the rest of his life. Giving him some 200+ year sentence is nice and all, but unless you leave his rotting corpse in a cell for 180 years, the end result is the same as what he has.queencitybuckeye;1291229 wrote:As long as he never sees the outside world again, it's just numbers. -

vball10setAs long as he gets the obligatory broomstick-up-the-ass every other day, I'm good with it.

He's gonna be put in adseg right off the bat. Basically he gets an hour a day to shower once a day and yard time with the other adseg inmates (sex offenders, gang drop outs, and so on) once every two weeks for about an hour depending on the prison. He gets very limited phone calls and probably not much visitation time. He gets to sit in a ten by ten room 23 hours a day with no human interaction, books from the library cart, and a tv with maybe three channels for the rest of his life. I don't have a clue how horrible that'd be, but hopefully its even worse than I can imagine for this guy. Besides he'd probably be pretty in to the whole broom stick thing.vball10set;1291285 wrote:As long as he gets the obligatory broomstick-up-the-ass every other day, I'm good with it. -
jordo212000Yup. He probably wouldn't mind getting a little manly love.
No issue with the sentence, he's old already. He isn't living another 20 years -

Brad, where you been? -
bigkahunaDoesn't it cost more to execute someone than to let them rot? I thought I read that somewhere.

Can't remember where I heard this (must have been ESPN, maybe First Take or Mike and Mike), but someone asked if Sandusky would be able to watch Penn State games in prison, and I guess the TVs in the prison have cable.bradmaynard;1291410 wrote:He gets very limited phone calls and probably not much visitation time. Could be, varies from institution to institution and I'm not familiar with all the ins and outs in pa. I have to wonder why they would even mention him watching the games though considering his statement on being a scapegoat and all you'd think he hates psu by now.BigAppleBuckeye;1293611 wrote:Can't remember where I heard this (must have been ESPN, maybe First Take or Mike and Mike), but someone asked if Sandusky would be able to watch Penn State games in prison, and I guess the TVs in the prison have cable. -

He'd still love to watch them play. All those guys grabbing each other and rolling around on the ground will give him a chance to dream about when he was free.bradmaynard;1293699 wrote:Could be, varies from institution to institution and I'm not familiar with all the ins and outs in pa.
