I'm not sure his comment had anything to do with Illinois. But on the other hand, OSU did just give up 49 to Indiana.

Sure it was, because he was relating it to Robinson's performance from his game against Illinois. I am aware of how many points OSU gave up, believe me, but they struggle mostly against teams that can throw, and tsun can't. Just sayin'

Maybe, but DRob's performance against Illinois wasn't anything special. That's why I think his comment has more to do with OSU's defense than Robinson.

Also, DR may not be the best passer, but I bet they can have some level of success against a team ranked 103rd in passing defense. Especially since they can really find success against the 33rd ranked rushing defense to open it up.

None of that relates to Illinois. Just sayin'.

Actually you're about 100% wrong. I had just gotten home from the IU/OSU game and I was kind of blown away by how poorly the OSU defense played. It wasn't a post about Robinson's game vs a poor Illinois defense, it was about OSU's defense vs a poor IU offense. Just sayin'.

I'd bet OSU's score is worse than 45-0 against Illinois.

I'm being honest, it would probably be something like 54-34. A good old RichRod type score.

I remember so well after the 67-65 game 2 years ago against Illinois, people on this very board talking about what an embarrassment the score and type of play was for the B1G. Now the shoe is on the other foot.

And by poor IU offense you mean the 24th best passing attack in nation and best in B1G? Yes, OSU struggles against passing teams this year. But I wouldn't exactly call Robinson a good passer.

They hit a guy on a simple crossing route that went for a big TD. They had a 45ish yd TD run. I wouldn't say Denard is the best passer in the world, but a terrible pass defense can make an average QB look great (see Michigan 2010).

Michigan said all the same things when they barely beat Indiana when RR was there.

We'll see how bad their defense is on 11/24. Just sayin'.

    Worse in what way?

We don't have to wait until 11/24. We saw last night how bad it is. Just sayin'.

That's the beauty of a long football season, we judge teams off of what they've done recently and what they may do based off of their current play. Just a few short weeks ago Michigan was slaughtered by Bama and they were finished. Now they're looking like a completely different football team and they're playing pretty well. I like Michigan's chances in every remaining game, even the finale in Indianapolis.

You are correct, but don't forget a very important factoid (and this goes for OSU as well)---the B1G sucks---so of course it looks like tsun is playing pretty well, as I thought the same thing about OSU after they kicked the shit out of Nebraska.

Isn't this the same thing we were all saying about tsun's offense after they played ND?? As Trueblue said, it's a long season, and things change.

    Stick with NASCAR, Mater....just sayin'.

Oh noes! Someone gave a bad opinion about the Buckeyes! Smh.

Their defense has played like shit on more than one occasion. Every Buckeye fan can see the defense is terrible. Get the fuck over it.

Notre Dame is a Top 5 team. Indiana is, well, Indiana. Thats laughable that you are even trying to compare the two.

Dey_Durkie wants his joke back....just sayin'.

No, it's not what we were all saying. The offense played fine, just turned it over. ND's big bad dline wasn't really a problem for Michigan.

He called you Mater? and it was S&L, not Durkie ;)

Huh? this is the definition of "playing fine"??

Wrong. Durkie was saying it long before S&L.

    You didn't answer my question.

I'm fairly certain you know exactly what I mean.

You have to admit, Webbie, that statement does look oxymoronic, right?
