I'm hoping NU can pull off its 4th B1G title since 1994. I'm afraid they'll fall short, but still, a 5-0 start (and perhaps a top 25 ranking) is a nice way to open the season.

DELAWARE, Ohio - A former Ohio State football great has been charged in a road rage shooting in Delaware on Sunday.

James "Jim" Stillwagon, 63, is accused of shooting a truck driver and grazing him in the head.

The incident appears to have been sparked by road rage between a driver of a pick-up and a motorcyclist that began outside of the city.

"That just doesn't happen here in Delaware, it's a nice, quiet town and you just don't hear about stuff like that here," said resident Brenda Herring.

Herring was taking her 10-year-old stepdaughter home when they came across the scene.

"We thought they were working on the bridge at first, and then we saw the crime scene tape and news everywhere," she added.

Witnesses said they actually heard gunshots coming from U.S. 23 before both drivers exited off William Street and then pulled over. That was when more shots were fired.

The injuries to the victim, Richard Mattingly of Kettering, did not appear to be life threatening. He was taken to the hospital and released Sunday night.

Stillwagon has been charged with one count of Felonious Assault.

Stillwagon was a three-year starter with the Ohio State Buckeyes from 1966-1970. He was an All-America selection as a junior and senior. Stillwagaon won the Outland Trophy and was the first-ever winner of the Lombardi Award.
