Even though the secondary looked better I think we lose at least 2 games. I would absolutely love to have 0 or 1 loss but I don't see it at all

Agreed. Was shocked that he played this week. Went out there and played a heckuva game with a heavy heart. Tough and classy kid.

Agreed he is such a great kid. He is very humble and tries to represent ND the best he can. I'm going to hate not seeing him next year in blue and gold

Worst game of the day - boring offenses and ineffective defenses on both sides of the ball.

Golson played really well tonight. Missed on a couple throws but other than that he did a heck of a job..

I'm guessing not good news on Slaughter. :(

I was impressed by Golson. He should only get better throughout the year.

Notre Dame looked quite good last night. Looking forward to the game with UM next week.

That's a big loss. I always liked slaughter. Farley will need to step up

SMH. No worse than Ohio U fans thinking they deserve a BCS bowl appearance after barely beating a hapless Penn State team.

You do realize he's a Michigan fan and was sarcastic. So you can leave now..

It's not about deserving. Ohio U plays in THE superior conference in America. That coupled with their excellence in academics, there is no better program to represent America in the BCSNCG.

Slaughter is done for the year with an Achilles injury

Yeah I feel bad for him. Farley has done a nice job though. Honestly right now I think Russell has played better than Jackson at corner. And shumate looks like he's going to be very very good.

Nd is up to 11 in the ap poll. A win vs Michigan puts us in the top 10

Losing Slaughter for the year is bad, the injury occuring with Michigan on the horizon is huge. Overall I was extremely pleased by Notre Dame's performance yesterday. My only criticisms, which are very mild are: Few quick passes and bubble screens, moreso the constant personnel shift from spread to 2 TE pro formations on many running plays allowing Sparty to stack the box and contain the Irish ground game much of Saturday night. I'd prefer they stick primarily to spread formations given they were passing out of 4 wide and empty sets most of the game. Regardless, great effort by the team, particularly Te'o and the Irish defense in a very impressive win.

Is te'o coming back to hawaii for services or are they delaying them for the bye week? I haven't hear anything at all here about it. They even showed nd highlights of him like they do every week, and not one mention of it. Thought it was odd. It's not really a trip
You can make in a day or two. It's just too much airtime and flights leaving here to the mainland are usually outgoing at night and land next day in Midwest cities. Sucks for him. I've never heard anyone here or anywhere talk negative of him

Kelly said that Manti will be returning home shortly after the Michigan game to spend some time with his family. I don't know if that means the family is waiting on the services, but that would be an awfully long time to wait...so I don't think that would be the case.
