UCF @ Ohio State

Lookin' for the offense to continue to improve. This will basically be the bowl game for UCF, so I expect them to come out playing hard. Would like to see the defense be more aggressive up front, which I think they will be.

Also, this will be my first game at The 'Shoe!!

It's a great experience going to a game. I didn't make it out to one last year but I want to this year. In general are conference games harder to get tickets for than non-conference?

As for this game. I expect the offense to make improvements. I also wouldn't mind seeing more pressure on the opposing QB from our defense.

Hit up the skull session before the game.

Make sure you're in the stadium for the ramp entrance... Goosebumps

Script Ohio is Pre game, not halftime. Be in the stadium 30 minutes prior to kickoff

OSU is an 18 point favorite, which is about right.
If OSU can jut calm down and play the offense, they should win going away. I do expect some slow downs with the offense, but minor ones here and there.
The defense needs to sure up the secondary, but I doubt UCF can exploit that too much.
Although, I do hope the OSU dline can get some sacks. They influenced Miami, but had a goose egg on sacks.

I see a close game early on, as UCF will hang around until around the 3rd, and then OSU will wear them down.
Something like 35-14 I can see.

First game jitters were to be expected.

All of the issues from Saturday can and will be corrected.

I expect OSU to come out a lot sharper from the start.

    Ohio State -18?

I really like this squad, but I like UCF too. -18 looks a bit high.

The offense should improve each week, Miller looks like by mid season he should have the offense down and that will spell trouble for conference foes. Was more disappointed with the defense than the offense, didn't see the line play that I hoped for but Miami ran all quick stuff so it was hard to get to him before he threw. I was waiting for them to jump the short routes but they never did. (didn't have to) Saw a lot on both sides of the ball to work on but nothing that can't be fixed quickly. Just want to see improvement each week and this team will be ok. Would like to see Dunn get some meaningful carries, he looked good late but the game was already over. Guiton looked good, not much drop off from Miller. Didn't see much out of Williams, I know he hasn't played for a year but thought right now that the Freshmen looked better (faster)

The big concern should be the secondary. They were shredded in the first half by Miami.
Luckily the secondary issues were mental, and not physical. They will get fixed.

Usually it is, but isn't this Saturday Alumni Band Day, where they have the quad Script Ohio at halftime? I may have heard wrong, but I thought they mentioned this on WBNS Sunday.

One was by a cornerback, was the other by a D lineman? I honestly can't remember.

One was by Noah Spence (intentional grounding, but Dysert was going down, and it is still credited as a sack)
The other sack was by Adolphus Washington.

    Both are D-lineman (freshman)

The students are trying to get everyone to wear either Scarlet or Gray in four different sections of the stadium this weekend. This could be a bust because its coming together kinda late. My tiks are 10-A and that is supposed to be a Scarlet section.
