Joe McKnight has been Driving a Land Rover Around

you know you buckeye fans really make me laugh, as soon as the smallest hint of inpropriety at any big time program you all are the first to cast stones. but yet in the tressel era you had around 20 players arrested for one thing or another. do they they take the buckeyes team picture from the front and side? is tressels coaches show now aired on court tv?

LOL a five year old blog by Tom fucking Friend provides no insight, truth and least of all credibility.

I don't get where you are going with this. Do you think that Clarett business never happened, or what?
  • ytownfootball
Two NCAA investigations...two...found nothing innappropriate while he was enrolled.

    After he left, who cares.

Yet we still hash it over and over...who the hell is going where with that?

And yeah...I'm an OSU gas bag, but your mom says I should consider the source as even at your age you still run like a girl.

i guess when the news is 8 years old or its pertains to the wrong doings of the buckeyes that means it never happened

Eventually the bulge in the rug is going to get so big, someone at the NCAA is going to trip and something will be done.

As for Clarret, there was obviously more to it. And OSU completely wiped their hands of him and threw him out in the trash. I never respected how Tressel handled that whole situation. I do think Clarret is a habitual liar, but I also think there is some truth to his statements.

As for the car, I don't think it's illegal. He can clame he got cash, but unless someone else can say the same thing no one can prove it. OSU has tutors that basically do papers for people, but I don't think it's necessarily illegal as long as the student athletes are going to see the tutors.

So in the end, OSU wasn't found guilty of any wrongdoing, but I'm still convinced there is more to the whole MoC situation.

I think there was definitely something shady about Clarret. I'm not sure if someone else was doing the dirty work and it couldn't be tied back to OSU (Hence the lack of findings by the NCAA) or if it was all Clarret. I wouldn't be surprised to find out he was a complete liar, or whoever was backing him while he was at OSU threatened him if he didn't shut his mouth. But there was SOMETHING there.

there's ALWAYS something there---but,in MoC's case,if it was as significant as some people seem to think it is,it would have been found....IMO,USC just keeps painting themselves into a corner--their day is coming--soon

McKnight did not travel with the team to the bowl game.

LOL at anything written by Tom Friend -- the "journalist" who hitched his star to the ravings of a sociopathic liar, figuring he'd end up with this huge book deal that would make his career.

That turned out well for him, didn't it.

Back on topic: I had to chuckle when McKnight told the media that they had "ruined" his life. Life's hell when you have to play by the same rules as anyone else, right Joe?

USC is the 2000 version of the 1980's Miami Hurricanes. Amazingly corrupt.

Dwayne Jarrett, Reggie Bush, Tim Floyd, OJ Mayo, and now Joe McKnight.

And that's just the stuff that we know. When there's smoke there's fire.

    The NCAA is amazingly incompetent.
