Ohio State vs. michigan Rivalry
-
ernest_t_bassWhether you are a fan of the Bucks or the wolverines, how do you feel about the matchup at the end of the season? Do you wish for your school's opponent to suck throughout the year, and still crush them at the end of the year, or do you desire these two teams win every game until that final one?
For me, I don't necessarily root for michigan, but I'd like for them to be great until that final game, so OSU can add more sting in defeat. One of my greatest memories of this historic game was #1 vs. #2. Not only does the rivalry win feel great, but to also be the team to knock your rival off the top, means so much more.
What say you? -
WebFireI hope OSU loses every game for eternity.
-
AutomatikI want Michigan to be good and then for OSU to crush their souls.
-
Trueblue23The ones who say they want their rival to lose every single game are the same people who don't understand the rivalry.

Tis not true. I understand the rivalry. I just hate OSU that much! I can't stand to watch them win!Trueblue23;1255007 wrote:The ones who say they want their rival to lose every single game are the same people who don't understand the rivalry. -
AutomatikYou hate them so much, yet you talk about them constantly?
It's much better for the rivalry and college football in general when OSU and Michigan are both solid going into the game. Of course I enjoyed it when OSU waxed Michigan during the Dick Rod era, but it's a better feeling when they are good.
That being said I still laughed my ass off when they lost to Appy State and Toledo. -

mcburg93As much as I hate michigan I want to see them do good. Not just for the rivalry but for the conference. If they are undefeated when undefeated Ohio State beats them that just helps get some push for Ohio State into the NC game.

Don't take things so literal. I can enjoy OSU losing and still be a fan of the rivalry. See Autmatik's post.ccrunner609;1255051 wrote:You would want both to be undefeated going into this game if you were a true fan of the rivalry.
The game would eventually mean nothing if one of them sucked forever. -

Your last post is probably the best reason to want the other team to be undefeated.mcburg93;1255048 wrote:As much as I hate michigan I want to see them do good. This involves having something more than a woefully simplistic mind, so you've lost 75% of the CFB posters.WebFire;1255066 wrote:Don't take things so literal. I can enjoy OSU losing and still be a fan of the rivalry. See Autmatik's post. -
