Oh fuck me. It's Ace Williams. Hahahahaha.

It may be bs, but it does make sense--there's no way Appy St should have stayed on the field with tsun that year--no way!!!

Can't say I disagree with that much of it. I don't doubt for a second that they took App State very lightly. I think that was obvious.

They did say the source would be released when the full story is released in November. If I were a UM fan, I would take this excuse over flat out getting beaten by Appy State.

I'll believe it when I see it. Not sure about the last part.

The "ringleader" in the second paragraph is probably Mario Mannngham.

You would rather half your team was dumb enough to get high before a game leading to one of the biggest upsets in history? That doesn't make them look any better.

    That's immediately what I thought.

Yeah, I think that's the consensus.

Funny how they talk about all the Ohio guys hanging together. There were a lot of Ohio guys on that team; on most UM teams actually.

I thought it was funny/odd how the Out of State guys were the ones partying, while In State and Seniors were focused. That just struck me as odd.

Not that odd. The Ohio guys were actually planted there by OSU to sabotage Michigan.

Can we use this excuse for the Toledo game then?

No, because the Toledo guys were prolly partying with them :p

Don't kid yourself. That 2007 Appy St team was legit.

7 of their former players from that 2007 team are still playing in the NFL (I believe):
    1. QB, Armanti Edwards,Carolina Panthers,
    2. WR, Dexter Jackson, New York Jets
    3. OG, Daniel Kilgore, SAn Francisco 49ers
    4. S, Mark LeGree, Chicago Bears
    5. S, Corey Lynch, San Diego Chargers
    6. WR, Brian Quick, St. Louis Rams
    7. LB, D.J. Smith, Green Bay Packers
Comparatively, 2007 Michigan in the NFL...
    1. WR, Adrian Arrington, New Orleans Saints
    2. S, Stevie Brown, New York Giants
    3. WR, Braylon Edwards, Seattle Seahawks
    4. DE, Brandon Graham, Philadelphia Eagles
    5. WR, Junior Hemingway, Kansas City Chiefs
    6. QB, Chad Henne, Jacksonville Jaguars
    7. DE, Tim Jamison, Houston Texans
    8. OT, Jake Long, Miami Dolphins
    9. WR, Mario Manningham, San Francisco 49ers
    10. P, Zoltan, Mesko, New England Patriots
    11. C, David Molk, San Diego Chargers
    12. LB, Jonas Mouton, San Diego Chargers
    13. CB, James Rodgers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
    14. OT, Stephen Schilling, San Diego Chargers
    15. CB, Morgan Trent, Washington Redskins
    16. DE, Ryan Van Bergen, Carolina Panthers
    17. TE, Martell Webb, Arizona Cardinals
Yeah, Michigan had no business losing that game, but that Appy State team was no slouch.
