Should McQueary Go To Jail?
-
FootwedgeHow about the other 3 big shots at the school?
-
reclegend22Article 223-7 of the Latham County Penal Code says that he should.
Why Mcqueary didn't stop a child being raped, if that's what he really believed was in the works that day, is beyond any measure of the imagination. He might be the most pathetic character in this whole episode. Not the most evil -- that distinction clearly belongs to the rapist -- but the most pathetic. The true act of cowardice came from Mike McQueary, who, in the midst of supposedly seeing a man **** a kid, instead of calling 9-1-1 called his dad after the alleged rape was over to chat about it. -
WebFireI wouldn't feel bad if he did. I don't know how one could live everyday after seeing that and doing NOTHING.
-
TiernanYes and so should Jay Paterno who knew just as much as his old man and should have to pay for the old man conveniently getting "lung cancer"...yeah sure, wink wink.

What exactly are you implying? That Jay Paterno murdered his father?Tiernan;1234448 wrote:Yes and so should Jay Paterno who knew just as much as his old man and should have to pay for the old man conveniently getting "lung cancer"...yeah sure, wink wink. -
SykotykIf McQ felt immediately unsafe by witnessing what he saw, I understand him fleeing the building for fear of possibly sudden, violent retribution by a guy who may be thinking his career/life is over. So, in that regard. He did the smart thing. HOWEVER, when he called his dad instead of the police, then went to talk to Paterno, instead of the police, and then worked with Sandusky in the building for YEARS later without ever questioning what 'investigation' PSU did on the matter, I just don't know how he could live with himself.

Pick6he is an accessary to crime, so yes, imo

He did the same thing that Paterno did, passed the info on to his boss and people were screaming for his head on a platter. He is the only one that witnessed the rape and did nothing about it, should be barred from ever being allowed around children for the rest of his life. I believe he is more to blame than Paterno.Sykotyk;1234923 wrote:If McQ felt immediately unsafe by witnessing what he saw, I understand him fleeing the building for fear of possibly sudden, violent retribution by a guy who may be thinking his career/life is over. isadorewow, mcquaery let that boy be raped and did not inform the police. the legend had been informed about Sandusky three years earlier. now he is informed of the shower incident and he organizes a conspiracy of silence that allows Sandusky another decade of child rapes.

People were screaming for his head because there is a law regarding situations like this. If you notice a child being abused in any way, you're legally obligated to report it. If not, you're charged just as the abuser themselves.password;1234947 wrote:He did the same thing that Paterno did, passed the info on to his boss and people were screaming for his head on a platter. That is the way it should be and I agree with the law. That is why he should be charged.bigkahuna;1234989 wrote:People were screaming for his head because there is a law regarding situations like this. mellaYes, yes, yes and dig his dead ass up, yes. They should all go to jail as accessaries to child molestation, child rape, child abuse, conspiracy to cover up.....anything the authorities can think up. These people should be charged and spend time in jail, hopefully they will receive a large dose of what they covered up and/or failed to report to the police.
-
Big GainHe should have punched Sandusky in the face. Sandusky slips, smashes his head on the shower floor and dies. McQueary is convicted of manslaughter.

This may have been better for the program, I don't think the NCAA would have punished them as bad if it was just a coach killing another coach. McQueary really screwed thinks up for Penn State.Big Gain;1236262 wrote:He should have punched Sandusky in the face. Sandusky slips, smashes his head on the shower floor and dies. Yes I have a very vivid imagination unfortunately I don't have to use it for the PSU child molestation/rape cover up.reclegend22;1236298 wrote:You have quite the vivid imagination. -

[SUB]I'm just saying that perhaps we shouldn't request that JoePa's body be dug up to be raped (or whatever it is you want to have done with it) until Paterno is found for certain to have authorized a coverup. I think that is reasonable. Due process for Paterno hasn't fully happened. There are still many voices to be heard and details to be uncovered. The Freeh Report was simply one man's interpretation of what might have occurred.[/SUB]mella;1236320 wrote:Yes I have a very vivid imagination unfortunately I don't have to use it for the PSU child molestation/rape cover up. -
isadoregosh a ruddies alot more than the opinion of one man
"He was aided by outstanding team of
former law enforcement, lawyers (one of whom is a former Navy SEAL) and officials, including former prosecutors, FBI Agents and Pennsylvania and Delaware State Police Officers, with many decades of experience conducting sensitive investigations. " -
mcburg93Not sure if he should go to jail. I am sure having to live through what he has about not reporting it is enough punishment.
-
bigkahunaI honestly don't see how he DOESN'T go to jail.
-
gport_tennisI am sure he already has a deal where he won't go to jail. what evidence do they have other than his testimony? He could easily plead the fifth.

yeh that is real justice for all those boys raped from 2001-2011mcburg93;1236421 wrote:Not sure if he should go to jail. I am sure having to live through what he has about not reporting it is enough punishment. -

Well, the Grand Jury Report as well as his testimony is all they'd need to convict him in a separate case. In both he admitted to seeing/hearing some sexual stuff going on and just walking away to tell his dad and JoePa.gport_tennis;1237682 wrote:I am sure he already has a deal where he won't go to jail. what evidence do they have other than his testimony? sportchamppsI have a insider who believes that more information is going to come out on McQueary. He wouldn't say what exactly just that the information is bad for PSU and McQueary. Take it for what its worth but my insider did testify as a character witness for Jerry Sandusky and somehow still is 50/50 on the fence if McQueary committed the crimes.
