Michigan Commit #24
-
Tinkertrain3 star DT Richard Ash from Pahokee Fl. A 6'4 270 pounder with 4.9 speed. Had offer's from LSU, USC, Tennessee and was previously commited to West Virginia.
-
newarkcatholicfanHopefully this guy will help Michigan spank Notre Dame.
-
OldDanTuckerI had a feeling that he would end up at UM Pahokee has been a bit of pipeline for them the past 2 years
-
OneBuckeyeGood commit... pahokee kids are real players. Rivals does not show an offer from LSU FYI. He does have an impressive offer list however.
-
OneBuckeyeIs michigan going to get more OL in this class? They have 3 DL commits and 1 OL this year. I thought they were thin on both lines depth wise, correct?
-
pkebkerSounds like an awesome player, wonder why he was only 3 stars? I love seeing these D players commit. We need a D.
What do you think of the recruiting class so far? -
Tinkertrain
Most likely not, the depth on the o-line is actually in pretty decent shape but I expect Michigan to take atleast 3 next season.OneBuckeye wrote: Is michigan going to get more OL in this class? They have 3 DL commits and 1 OL this year. I thought they were thin on both lines depth wise, correct? -
OldDanTucker.
You can't put alot of stock into how many stars a guy gets. When it comes to 3 star guys you should also look at who actualy offers them or base your own opinion based off of highlights and how strong their competition they play against is. Ash does have a pretty solid offer list and looks like he could turn out to be a pretty solid player for UMpkebker wrote: Sounds like an awesome player, wonder why he was only 3 stars? Pick6James Lauranitis was a 3 star prospect and look how he turned out..
Pretty sure Hawk was too, not 100% positive though. -
pkebkerDoes UM have any prospects visiting in the next few weeks?
-
bo shemmy3337I think he is number 23
-
TiernanAnother 2nd tier guy...promising but not not a bonafide lock. Probably will see limited action by middle of his Jr. season. Until you guys finally sign a legit "can't miss" bluechipper quit posting and continuing to embarrass yourselves more than this past season already did.

OldDanTuckeryes because O$U has such an amazing class right now that UM fans should just give up now http://michigan.scout.com/a.z?s=162&p=9&c=14&yr=2010
O$U-3 top 100 guys, 1 five star, 8 four star , 15 total. 21st ranked class
UM-2 top 100 guys, 1 five star, 6 four star, 24 total (25 if you include adrian witty). 13th ranked class -
Pick6According to ESPN:
Ohio State has 12 ranked recruiting class.
Michigan has 20th ranked recruiting class. -
OldDanTuckerI've never followed ESPN for recruting honestly but thats just me. Rivals and Scout.com are the best for recruting IMO.
-
Pick6I usually am on ESPN a lot, so I look on there every now and then. Yes I am an Ohio State fan, but dont mind some Michigan talk to see what they got coming.
-
OldDanTuckerSame here as a UM fan I like to follow what O$U has coming in as well. Just when it comes to recruting I like to follow scout and rivals. Anything else ESPN is the way to go.
-
Trueblue23ESPN's recruiting is awful.
-
devil1197Not to be rude, but if OSU gets half of their final guys they will crush UM's class heavily. These are the guys still out there for OSU.
Henderson, Floyd, James, Hicks, and Anderson are all 5 star Top 20 Rivals.
James and Bryant are 4 star Top 100 Rivals. And then you have Hankins who is choosing between both schools. -
OldDanTuckerIts not like UM is done with recruits either there is still alot of talented guys considering UM not to mention you always get those last minute guys that surprise everyone.
-
devil1197
UM isn't done but their current targets are nowhere near what OSU has targeted right now in terms of talent and rankings.OldDanTucker wrote: Its not like UM is done with recruits either there is still alot of talented guys considering UM not to mention you always get those last minute guys that surprise everyone.
