Big 12 vs. SEC bowl games and ESPN's "early" top 25

It sounds as if in 2014 the SEC champion and Big 12 champion will play a bowl game against each other.

"Notre Dame's best player transferred to South Florida." Huh? Lynch is a hell of a talent but he wasn't better than Manti.

ND fans were lamenting at how Lynch could be the greatest defensive player to ever play college football when he was signed with the Irish. Once he switched teams, everyone is saying that Lynch would have rode the bench at Notre Dame.

Hyperbole. No ND fans said either of those things...at least not any ND fans here.

Yea, I'd love to see any quotes about Lynch which match those.

    Of course it was hyperbole.

Then that was not a good post. It's almost as bad as trying to use the word lamenting in the beginning of that post. It just doesn't make sense considering that lamenting means "mourning." So you essentially said that ND fans were "mourning at how Lynch could be the greatest defensive player." Maybe you meant that ND fans were lauding Lynch as possibly being the greatest defensive player. The idea you tried to convey was that ND fans praised Lynch when he signed. But the idea you actually conveyed was that ND fans grieved that Lynch signed.

Just an overall poor effort in that post. I'd give it a D+.

The only one who grieved was Lynch when he found out how terrible the Irish are and how they will never win anything for the next 100 years.

I think I read that they only meet if they both are not in the top 4(or Final 4 whenever they develop that).

Right, but if one or both champs are in the playoff, they are replaced in the bowl by another team from that conference.

Nope. Notre Dame is not a good team.

Your most reasonable post on this thread. Reps when I can.

Yep, just went back and read the tweets where I got the info from. Thanks for the correction.
