2012-2013 Early Rankings
-
gorocks99Now that the season is over, we can start looking forward to next year. ESPN's take on next year's top 25; B1G looking stacked again.
http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/7767401/indiana-hoosiers-continue-moving-2012-13
1. Indiana
5. Ohio State
7. Michigan State
8. Michigan
21. Wisconsin
This of course will change a bunch over the next few weeks as transfers and draft decisions come in. But it's interesting to see. -
wildcats20lol at Carolina being 11th.
They won't scratch the top 25 this year. Gonna be a long one. -
Azubuike24The rankings are absolutely stupid now.
How about we wait like 5 days until we know almost the entire set of rosters for next year?
I guess the CBB sections want some hits already... -

Agreed..btw, who do you anticipate leaving Ky early?Azubuike24;1135491 wrote:The rankings are absolutely stupid now.

wildcats20Everyone.
-
se-alumYea, gotta imagine Davis, Teague, Lamb, Jones, and Kidd-Gilchrist are all gone.
-
wildcats20Davis and UK can't afford to have him stick around another year if all that stuff about the money is true.

sleeperOhio State is only 5th if Sully and Thomas return.
-
sleeperNo surprise on the B1G. It has always been a tough conference, but they are currently in a domination mode unseen by even the Greek gods.

About it costing $2K just for a visit and all this stuff. -
sleeperOhio State still has a lot of Freshman that will make an impact next year. Things are looking good for the Buckeyes, even with Sully and Thomas leaving. If they both come back, don't be surprised to see them at a #1 seed and another final four appearance(if not a championship).

Azubuike24UK had 2 guys who could have potentially stayed.
Marquis Teague and Doron Lamb.
They happened to basically dominate the title game, no doubt improving their stock last night.
I'd anticipate all 5 gone. -

Winning the Title makes it easier for them to leave as well, IMO. They already got what you play for.Azubuike24;1135539 wrote:UK had 2 guys who could have potentially stayed.

Exactly. This may be a reason for Sully to stay.Laley23;1135560 wrote:Winning the Title makes it easier for them to leave as well, IMO. They already got what you play for. -

As crazy as it is for me to say, because Ive been adamant that Sully will leave and Thomas as 50-50. But I think there is a chance both come back. Im like 80% Thomas will be back, and I was 95% Sully would go...but now Im about 50-50 on him. Dont know what it is, but Id still say he bolts if a gun was to my head.vball10set;1135589 wrote:Exactly. This may be a reason for Sully to stay. -
Heretic
I'm kind of in that boat, but I don't want to say anything because a lot of that might be just me overreacting to one crappy game in the Final Four by both guys.Laley23;1135624 wrote:As crazy as it is for me to say, because Ive been adamant that Sully will leave and Thomas as 50-50. Crimson streakI think they both stay honestly.

daveI remember seeing one of these last year with Michigan in the top 10 then DMo went pro. Now the same could happen with Burke.

Big GainWhat is current percentage for Zeller leaving early?

I would think that Thomas and Sullinger know if they both come back Ohio State has a better shot at winning it all next year as opposed to what their chances were this year. If that has a bearing on their decisions I do not know.Laley23;1135624 wrote:As crazy as it is for me to say, because Ive been adamant that Sully will leave and Thomas as 50-50. What is your current % for Zeller leaving early? If Cody and his brother are both in this year's draft I think it is unanimous that Cody will go higher than his brother.
