Now, I'm going to preface this post with saying that I'm definitely not looking past Cincinnati, as the team definitely needs to win that game before looking at the next one, but this is the series of events I'd definitely like to see play out for tOSU in this tournament.
I think that's suffice to say that Ohio State has some type of attitude in revenge games that produces some of the best games they've played all year (see Michigan part 3, Illinois, and Indiana). Thus, granted we beat Cincy (which is no easy task), we could possibly be looking at three revenge games down the road on route to a National Championship. I'm not saying that this is how it's going to work out, but we could very well avenge every single loss on our slate by having three wins in the tournament.
Avenged Losses
Indiana- Loss on December 31 (70-74); Avenged on January (80-63)
Illinois- Loss of January (74-79); Avenged on February 21 (83-67)
Michigan State- Loss on February 11 (48-58); Avenged on March 4 (72-70)
Michigan- Loss on February 18 (51-56); Avenged on March 10 (77-55)
Un-Avenged Losses
Kansas- Loss on December 10 (67-78)
Wisconsin- Loss on February 26 (60-63)
Michigan State #2- Loss on March 11 (64-68)
After Cincy, it's quite possible we get Wisky in the EE, Kansas in the FF, and Sparty in the NC. Though, I will say that if Sparty doesn't show up in the NC, we could get Kentucky, which would be another revenge game from last year's Sweet Sixteen.
Hopefully, I'm not jinxing the team right now, and this is pure speculation (I cannot say that enough).
