I'm kinda feeling this, too. UK versus Pitino at the Final Four would be worth serious cash to attend and would make for tremendous TV.

    Lville have a Kemba?

No but they got a Siva and a Hall-of-Fame coach. They play relentless pressure defense, have a solid cast of players who know their roles and plenty of desire for success (as witnessed by their gutsy run to a Big East title).

You don't need "a Kemba" to win a title. I think Tiger was more or less just making a comparison regarding a Big East team that had struggled early in the year and then making a run to a conference championship and, perhaps, NCAA final drive.

    Great game. Conrats to syracuse.

Florida/Marquette has been pretty solid so far.

I remember saying on Selection Sunday Florida as a 7 seed was a little off. Seems to be right. More like a 4 or 5.

Florida's quickness is so fun to watch. Walker dancing around the court like a jitterbug reminds me a lot of the play of former Gator gunner Teddy Dupay. At under six-feet, the latter was a spidery scorer who possessed the ability to drop 40 with the flick of a wrist. And then he went it f*cked it all up.

Holy hell, WTF, Teddy. I mean, I knew about the gambling debts and the bizarre crusade he is now on to legalize pot, but the prison time for alleged rape that I just stumbled upon while Googling his playing career came as a surprise. An interesting tale, to be sure.

I think teams like UConn last year and Louisville this year do need a Kemba to win it all. JMO

Todd Mayo sparking Marquette to a rally.

Watched Mayo by himself lead South Point to a 20-0 regular season and then get defeated in their first tourney game by Ironton....he was just a sophomore. Transferred the next year. Kind of odd for a Mayo to transfer high schools.

LOL...remember on the old site that one guy who White Knight'd the Oak Hill guys to the end of the world and back? Mayo, Walker, etc. could do no wrong.

You've been trained as a Duke fan to love unathletic white guys. You're like one of Pavlov's dogs.

I lol'd. There is probably some truth to that actually. I will absolutely draw the line the day that K signs an albino.

At 100 threes on the season at an over 45% clip, however, the Ontarian can flat out make rain. And he's got a lightning-quick release, making him deceptively difficult to guard. I will take a player like that any day.

Fuck this flagrant 1 rule. It's ridiculous.

Xavier trying to fight back vs Baylor. They were down 22--4 to start the game has it down to 4 now a 7 point game

If they can get over the hump and not allow a Baylor run of much.....they'll win. Baylor hasn't had much flow since that ridiculous start.
  • killer_ewok
Xavier had quite the rally there at the end but Baylor knocks down FT's to seal it.

Calipari not calm on the sideline.....acts as if he's never won a title.
  • Ironman92
    IU better have a bench!

UK in the bonus at 13:11!
