It's very weird, for some reason I can't find his recruiting info, and I have a couple pay accounts lolAzubuike24;1123306 wrote:He visited UK and OSU, I'm almost positive about that. -
reclegend22I think Florida and Boston College (when Skinner was still around) were into Oriahki, or he them. That's according to his scout page. (Not always overly reliable.)

SportsAndLadyI could see Orhiaki going to Iowa State..they've been Transfer U lately, and they are losing Royce White. Seems like a good replacement if Alex is cool with, you know, playing in Ames.

How can a school be "of interest" if the kid had NO interest in them...lolSchools of Interest:School Interest Level Offer? Visit Date Signed LOI? Connecticut Verbal Yes None Boston College No Interest No None Florida No Interest No None Ohio State No Interest No None -
Azubuike24I think often times, they don't update those. Often, a player will cut down to a final 3 or 5, and then make a pick. After a guy is committed, those don't get updated.

I was about to ask you for a link about White leaving but first I wanted to double check that I heard correctly that he was a RS-Sophomore(which he was), and he is indeed leaving Iowa State for the draft.SportsAndLady;1123327 wrote:I could see Orhiaki going to Iowa State..they've been Transfer U lately, and they are losing Royce White. I have heard it on a few telecasts and some tweets. He went to school there and is now coaching there and they want a program to take over whenever that time is. Sound like they are big on bringing back the NBA guys to campus during the summer for workouts.reclegend22;1122487 wrote:I know Ollie is a former UConn standout, but he's only been on the staff for, what, two or three years? Is he for sure the predecessor? Interesting. I would have thought there might be a national coaching search when Calhoun stepped down, since his right-hand man, George Blaney, was the same age as Bob Hope.
At one time, I remember people saying that Thad Matta could be a possible flight risk in Columbus if the job in Storrs opened (I would highly argue against this now, however, as Thad has rebuilt an elite program now), and that Sean Miller might be a hot candidate.
