Luckily for KU, the got cold, yet continued to fire away, thus leaving KU the opportunity to get back in the game. Yes, they are good. But one cold game or any kind of foul trouble in the NCAA, and they are done. No depth. Very inconsistant post play. That doesn't bode well for NCAA.
While I agree that if Mizzou isn't hitting their 3's, they could be out very early; and generally with everything you said except for one thing...they don't have inconsistent post play. They just don't have any depth in their front court. Ratliffe is a beast though. 8-13 vs Kansas and kept them in the lead throughout most of the 1st half. He's in the running to break the NCAA FG% record lol idk how that's considered inconsistent?

Sullinger is a bitch and has regressed. No need to sugar coat it. He says today that he plays timid because he's scared of getting fouls called on him.. SMFH...

Matta does not know how to use a roster and develop depth, point blank. No reason Amir Williams should be riding pine when he could be playing next to Sullinger. I also think LaQuinton Ross should have been worked into the offense as he's by far the best shooter on the team. Matta is ignorant and hard headed when it comes to these issues.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Amir transfer and for Matta to have a hard time recruiting top players. Top players want to play and Matta doesn't do that. Word gets around. I don't understand the lack of adjustments Matta has made, but whatever... Another 2nd round exit this year... Maybe they make the sweet 16, but I doubt they go further than that.

    False.

Also why would Williams transfer when Sully is pretty much gone? Ross 'by far' the best shooter on the team?

I hope you were being overly sarcastic.

Again, HUGE difference in the KU team now and when they played Ohio State. Not really sure why that's so difficult for you to understand? TT isn't the turnover machine he used to be. Check the stats out moron, lately he rarely turns it over more than a couple times a game.

PS--Sherron Collins had 7 turnovers against UNC in the Final Four in '08...so there goes that whole theory. What else ya got?

So, you just been following OSU this year I assume? lol This comment is beyond ridiculous.

12 turnovers the past 5 games? 3.5 per game? Not the machine he was early. But still prone to turning it over. And against teams that pressure, OSU = 7, Duke= 11!!, KSU = 8 , Baylor = 5, 1st Mizzou game = 6.
He is better, not still not very good.

I mean, Thad and OSU never went to the NC game with a core of 3 Freshman or anything

Actually, top players DO play- if they're truly top players.

Look I'm not saying he's a zero turnover a game guy now. I'm saying what you're saying...he's cleaned up on his turnovers, and he's not the TO machine that he used to be.

2, 1, 2, 4, 3, 3, 3...his last 7 games, and that's playing 37 mpg. There is zero issue w/ TT and his turnovers anymore (used to be, not anymore).

    What else ya got?

7 turnovers a game won't win ya final fours, right?

He had to be trolling.

12 TOs in last 5 games does not equal 3.5 per game. It is less than 2.5 per game.

    cbf will completely ignore this.

Just like he'll completely ignore "7 TO's by your PG will not win you a tourney game past the SS" and Sherron Collins' 7 TO's against UNC in the FF.

On the YEAR he avg. 3.5. And look what he does vs ranked teams. Teams that can put pressure on. FACTS

Oh ok, fair enough. But, less than 2.5 over 5 games is very good. Not sure why you put that to downplay him. 3.5 is getting up there though. So thats a pretty relevant stat versus ranked teams.

Just for my curiosity and laziness to not look it up. What are his assists looking like in these big games? What are his assists looking like since his TOs went down? Same for steals, as that is somewhat neutralizing a TO.

Actually, vs ranked teams, he is WELL above 3.5. That 3.5 is on the entire season. He has a TO to asst. ratio of 1.4. Except for the recent game against Mizzou, vs ranked teams, he had games of 7, 11, 8, 5, 6.
Hey, there is no qestion he is BETTER. But there is an issue with him vs good teams that pressure. When he is good, he is flat out good. But he could aslo be what beats KU as easily.

No, I can read it myself pal.

    UK - zero
    Duke - 11 TO
    OSU - 7 TO
    Kans St.1 - 8 TO
    Kans. St2 - 3 TO
    Baylor1 - 5 TO
    Baylor2 - 3TO
    Mizzou1 - 6 TO
    Mizzou2 - 1 TO

Not great any way you want to spin it. Avg to almost 5 per game. Not something u want from ur starting PG.

BTW, i am just stating the obvious. If you recall in another thread, I said I like this KU team, how they play, etc, etc. They are looking good right now, no question. That being said, I still see them as a very beatable team.

Anyway, done with this convo. This is an OSU thread. Not KU. Sorry I got into this.

Yes moron but my entire point is that LATELY his turnovers have been down, even against good competition. I realize that in the OOC he had high TO numbers, and at the beginning of conference play as well.

    But:

Missouri: 1 TO in 44 minutes
@ Kansas State: 3 TO in 37 minutes
    @ Baylor: 3 TO in 37 minutes
    @ Missouri: 6 TO in 38 minutes
@ Iowa State: 2 TO in 35 minutes

Those are not troublesome numbers lol...AT ALL.

You're just trying to spin his turnovers because how bad it was early in the season (hence, bringing up OSU, UK, Duke, etc.).

My entire point this whole time was that he has, somewhere along the way, just clicked out of that. And is handling the ball much, much better.
