2012 Uniform Thread

    Not too early to get it going I suppose. Minnesota just released their 2012 uniforms (they've been switching uniforms more than Gunner Kiel lately ...), much more simple than the previous ones:

    They released sme new word mark that was pretty turrible. I like the unis though.

    The only thing I don't like about Minnesota's is the brick print on the maroon numbers of the white jerseys.

    Illinois is considering new helmets for 2012. I personally do not like their current ones and consider these an upgrade.

    Like the blue one with the letter I on it. Think that is sharp.

    I also like the orange Illini ones too. Just not as much as the blue one.

    I'd do the "I" helmet, but with the helmet in orange and the "I" as blue and white.

    Definitely time for an update, but it would be nice to see them keep their branding somewhat consistent. You can always add the matte blue helmet as an alternate.
