How many more National Titles will the SEC win before being dethroned?

  • IggyPride00
6 straight years of SEC national titles now.

When, and what conference will finally knock them off?

    Next year.

    Conference USA.

    Next season. Big 12

Pac 12 next year. Then 7 years of OSU titles. 4 years of Michigan then OSU to infinium.

What are Bama and LSU losing? I'd agree Big 12/Pac 12 has a decent chance, though.

    USC next season

Why is everyone so high on USC for next season? What has Lane Kiffin proven as a football coach? I'm not buying it.

LSU next year. Easy schedule, young team, and a QB.

Matt Barkley is back and he is one of the best in the country and the team as a whole is as talented as any in the country. Depth will be a big issue for them but they have the athletes to play with anyone.

Kiffin has done very little, but Gene Chizik didn't do much prior to last season either. Kiffin at the very least has his father as a DC and plenting of great pieces to play chess with on offense.

They will be good, very good.

The difference is Chizik didn't get handed a high pre-season rating I believe... Auburn earned it, Chizik earned respect.

Kiffin has yet to do anything as a coach that warrants the respect he is getting. I'm not saying they couldn't win next year, or that he isn't a great coach. I just don't think he has done anything to warrant it.

I just have heard recently a lot of people talking about USC v. LSU title game already for next year. I just find it odd.

I find it odd you are a moderator. Remove from discussion? Is that your angle? Losers.

You're assuming they won't be playing another SEC team in the title game next year.

Conferences don't play for national championships. Teams do.

USC went 10-2 and beat Oregon this year:huh: Don't forget these guys laid an egg against Arizona State and then went on to almost take down Stanford. They've really improved quite a bit

Andy Staples from CNNsi released his early 2012 top 25 and has 5 SEC teams in the top 9.

If they are really that strong again the odds are in their favor of continuing their dominance over the rest of college football.

You are such a joke. You pick LSU every year. Even in one of the worst BCS-era college football seasons ever, LSU could not win. The only 2 seasons worse than this in the BCS era were 2003 and 2007 (easily the worst season ever in any era).

Weren't those both of the years LSU won? LOL

Let's see- they dominated Notre Dame and Oregon on the road, took Stanford to triple overtime, have the top quarterback, nation's top TWO receivers, and a loaded backfield.

After a quick glance, Oklahoma State and Michigan State need to be switched with each other.
