The Rockets seem to be in the midst of another poor season. It's almost like they are stuck in neutral and can't seem to find any momentum to build on. They give a pretty nice effort against Wright State and then just get buried by Valpo. Toledo has a very nice arena, recently upgraded, the school is a solid academic institution, it would seem that recruiting athletes to come to Toledo to play basketball wouldn't be an impossible task, but it just doesn't seem to be happening currently. While they have been on a slight upturn recently, their wins are against opponents who have hardly any wins against anyone. Toledo has a pretty long and fairly successful basketball legacy and while I'm not a Rocket fan, I appreciate the past and the efforts of Harold Anderson and Bobby Nichols and others who have led that program and it would be nice to see the Rockets step up and remember it as well.
