Coach Brian Kelly 2nd Time!!
-
september63He abandoned CMU on Dec.3, 2006 after completing the regular season!! CMU also did NOT permit him to coach them in their Bowl Game that year. Sound familiar?
One other thing, while he has won some games. By staying 3 years at BOTH, CMU and UC, he was actually winning football games with the previous coaches recruits. -
Lovejoy1984Thanks for yet another thread on Brian Kelly, and Notre Dame. The other 75 were not enough, and you finally got us to where we needed to be.
-
september63Dont click on it and dont read it then. I am pointing out he has "left" 2 schools within 4 years. Both times before bowl games, and EACH time the schools have NOT permitted him to stick around and coach the bowl game!
-
osu99did you know Jerome Bettis was from Detroit too?
-
Al Bundy
Have you ever left a job for a better job? He did a great job at those schools or he wouldn't be in a position to leave for a better job.september63 wrote: Dont click on it and dont read it then. I also heard that Brady Quinn's sister was dating AJ Hawk. Figured both of these had to be lies...because someone on TV would have said something about it by now!osu99 wrote: did you know Jerome Bettis was from Detroit too? -
sjmvsfscs08Some people on this forum are complete idiots.
I was a huge Urban Meyer fan when he was at Bowling Green, and I was furious when he opted to leave for Utah. I remember thinking "Who wants to coach Mormons?" But the fact of the matter is after a few months I came to the realization that Bowling Green is a shithole and Utah was just another step up the latter to get to a program like Florida. Brian Kelly has had a very similar rise. Do you expect him to stay at a crap program like Central Michigan? How long do you want him to play for BCS games in the Big East when he can play for National Championships at Notre Dame? You're being obtuse, use your brain. -

Wow! that sounds spooky similar to that guy, uhm... what's his name? Oh yeah! Some sorry-ass named Meyer who was at BG from 2001-2002 and Utah from 2003-2004. He must not have been good enough to stay 3 years though.september63 wrote: He abandoned CMU on Dec.3, 2006 after completing the regular season!! september63Are any of you comparing Urban Meyer's success to Brian Kelly? Or assuming things will work out the same way? Pls dont be that stupid!! Florida has athletes that ND will never get. Notre Sames days are finished.

Mr PatKinda like the Tigers?

As far as living in the past glory, yes! What have you done for me lately? Or won lately? Both of them can say we havent won anything in a long, long time. Neither of them is a top tier program in their respective situations. Massillon is closer than ND is even.Mr Pat wrote: Kinda like the Tigers? -

Even though you have shown some cold hard facts I’m astonished you had the audacity to post anything negative about the new greatest coach in college football.september63 wrote: Dont click on it and dont read it then. Mr Pat
Time will tell. Which is the best any of us can say right now.september63 wrote:

I dont really think anyone has called him the new greatest coach in football. Has he done some nice things leading up to getting the ND job ya he has, otherwise he wouldnt of gotten the job. Is he at the level of the other greats in college football, no. But was he going to get there at Cincy?? Maybe. IMO he has a better shot at that being at Notre Dame.newarkcatholicfan wrote:

Hamp89Jesus this forum is turning into a pile of shit. I'm surprised the mods are letting it get like this.
-
september63When the overall consensus of the posts are against ND, is it the mods job to soften the blow? Im just asking?
-

When the majority of the ND threads are started just to flame, they should all just get piled into one big thread so the trolls can have at it. I feel bad for the people who come on to read about their teams or relevent college football news, and they have to wade through all the bullshit ND threads to get to it. This is an extremely unorganized forum.september63 wrote: When the overall consensus of the posts are against ND, is it the mods job to soften the blow? Im just asking? -
