Dayton is up and down

Tonight was the pits. Dayton lost at home to one of the worst teams in the country. I just don't know what to make of this team. They have beaten some very good teams and lost to some very poor ones. I just hope they wake up before A-10 tourny time.

I'd like to say I'm surprised, but unfortunately I'm not. Pretty much playing out the prediction I made earlier about getting your hopes up by knocking off the good teams, but blowing it against the A-10 bottom feeders.

Dayton officially died tonight. I can't believe they lost by 10 at home to Duquesne. At the rate they're going, they won't even make the NIT.

Don't give up yet, wait until they make a run in the A-10 tourney and lose in the champioship game.

I hate to sound like a broken record, but Dayton did it again. Their fourth straight loss. Near the beginning of the season, I thought they would pull it all together by now and be ranked in the top ten. At the rate they're going, they will be lucky to be ranked in the top ten of the A-10.

Dayton is starting to turn it around. That's two wins in a row. The big test will come Saturday when they play at Xavier. We haven't beaten X on their court in a quarter century. A win down there would be huge.

Dayton did it again. For about the 25th straight year, we lost at Xavier. This time it was in overtime. I don't know why we can't win down there.

No, idiot, that's not the reason.

Theyre 16-10. They lose 2 bad teams because they arent very good.

Sadly that's not an exaggeration and it's actually even worse. That was the 27th straight loss at Xavier, spanning back over 30 years to January 1981.

Heartbreaking end for the Flyers losing to X in the Tourney quarters.
