WebFireAlso, Payton seems to be favoring Cal. Had a good visit there this weekend.

Cal is going to have a ridiculous class, especially for Cal. -

Wait, Michigan told Diggs "no?" Really?dave;1012133 wrote:They told Diggs no over a week ago. Disappointing but understandable.
Dunn obviously wants to go to OSU be realizes it might be in his best interest to head to AA. Can't blame him for struggling with the decision. I wonder if Hoke would be willing to wait until signing day to keep a spot open for him?
Yet they are still in it with Payton, correct? -
WebFire
I don't think they told Diggs no. I think Diggs all but eliminated Michigan. Could just be there wasn't mutual interested so Michigan started focusing on someone else.dat dude;1012282 wrote:Wait, Michigan told Diggs "no?" Really?

Diggs seemed to blow off the coaches and took a visit to I believe Cal when Michigan coaches were coming to his house. That was the end of his Michigan offer. Diggs was still high on Michigan, there is a tweet out there from him about it.dat dude;1012282 wrote:Wait, Michigan told Diggs "no?" Really?

Oh yeah I remember that now. -
WebFire2013 Seffner (Fla.) Armwood defensive back Leon McQuay III has picked up an offer from Michigan. He has a pretty impressive offer list...Florida, Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Oklahoma.

Where would you place Michigan's chances of landing him at? I know it's early.WebFire;1013861 wrote:2013 Seffner (Fla.) Armwood defensive back Leon McQuay III has picked up an offer from Michigan. He has a pretty impressive offer list...Florida, Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Oklahoma. -

Yeah, way too early to even guess.Scarlet_Buckeye;1014394 wrote:Where would you place Michigan's chances of landing him at? I know it's early. -
WebFireIn light of Dunn's decision, it looks like Michigan still wants another RB in this class. They are trying to get 4* Ath David Perkins from Indiana to take a visit. They are interested in him as a RB.
-
davePerkins is intriguing. With Fitz locked into 20 carries a game if healthy they can afford to take a shot at a guy like this. He seems like a guy Wisconsin would recruit.
-
WebFireMore on Perkins. He is very interested in Michigan, and will be talking to coaches about a visit. Michigan is expected to offer when he visits, likely in January. He plans to announce close to signing day.
ND fans, why did he decommit? -
WebFireInteresting, I just read it was because of academic issues?
-
WebFireAlso seeing reports that Mattison visited with Pharoh Brown. I'd like to get that kid back. Hopefully he made an honest mistake and wants to be at Michigan.

A couple different rumors were floating around. Most common was the academic one and another big one was that he really wanted to be a RB and Notre Dame was telling him he'd be a LB. The only thing that either side has said was it was a mutual decision for him to move on and look for a different opportunity. He has said a few times that he didn't like that Notre Dame didn't allow their commits to visit other schools, which doesn't make sense considering probably half of their commits have taken other visits after committing. -

I saw about him being a RB was an issue too. I thought it was NDs policy about visiting though? Hoke has the same policy.karen lotz;1015657 wrote:A couple different rumors were floating around. karen lotzThat policy would be news to Greenberry, Sheppard, Darby and a few others. Weis had that policy or something close to it but Kelly has a slightly different approach to recruiting.

if there are academic issues with ND then there will be academic issues with Michigan. I do not expect him to go blue.WebFire;1015662 wrote:I saw about him being a RB was an issue too. I thought it was NDs policy about visiting though? Hoke has the same policy. -

Sounds like it wasn't as much academics as reported. There were multiple rumors on why. But if it is academics, you would be right.bo shemmy3337;1018288 wrote:if there are academic issues with ND then there will be academic issues with Michigan. I do not expect him to go blue. -
mellaBrady Hoke was at Olentangy High School this last week. I wonder who he was talking to?
