Little Danny
UC playing for a share of the Big East Championship tomorrow. This would be their third conference title in four years. Due to the conference's tie-break rule, the Bearcats are all but eliminated from a BCS Bowl Game (unless they somehow finish ranked higher than WVU but I don't expect that to happen).
Besides for the conference title, it is also Senior Day. It is UC's first game at Nippert Stadium in over 70 days (the last two home games were at Paul Brown Stadium). UC fans will be saying farewell to perhaps the greatest class of athletes they ever had --- QB Zach Collaros, RB Isaiah Pead, WR DJ Woods, OT Alex Hoffman, LB JK Shaffer, DT Derek Wolfe and DT John Hughes among some others.
Connecticut will not just be rolling over and playing dead in this one. They will be playing for bowl eligibility. That being said, I am going to be a homer and say the Bearcats win this one comfortably.
