What does Urban Meyer do with....

  They don't fit his offense

  He said that he will run some I-formation, probably quite a bit, gradually fazing it out as over the next couple years as he gets players in to fit his offense, He is not as dumb as Brady Hoke (trying to make Denard a pocket passer) so he will run what best utilizes the talent available to him. But he will most likely stop recruiting these big TEs, fullbacks, 240lb tailbacks.
  Taylor Graham for his own best interest should transfer out, the kid has good talent and will be good in the right situation. As for Rod Smith there is always room for a big talented back (Urban's first phone call was to Brionte Dunn) so he'll be fine in the new offense who knows maybe Smith and Hyde will even get a fair shake by the new staff.

  Actually, Urban Meyer's base offense is still the traditional power I. He even made mention of this during his conference. It's the same basic offense, just lined up in multiple formations to disguise it. Obviously he implements the spread into it, but it's not a straight spread'em out and chuck the ball offense like Okie St or TTech.
  
  With that said, Urban has said he's always wanted to coach bigger backs, like the ones who are at OSU now. I'd imagine Boren and Smith will have roles in his offense.
  
  As for Hyde, he's a big, bruising back, but he also runs a 4.5. He will definitely be utilized. I'm also very interested to see what Urban does with Jordan Hall, who is a very versatile player. We could see him lined up at RB on one snap, then at WR on the next. He's also got a pretty good arm, so I wouldn't be surprised to see Urban run some trickery with he and Braxton.

  Ummm...TE's are a big part of Urban's offense, they will be fine. People seem to think Urban runs some crazy spread offense where there's only room for small, quick guys. In reality, he runs alot of pro-style stuff. Look for Boren to be more involved in the offense, if he isn't moved to LB.

  Boren to LB is definitely a possiblility, given the depth at LB. But Meyer is not a RR. He won't try to fit the square pegs into the round holes. He understands more than one offense and can marry multiple styles into his scheme.

  Vannett will thrive in Urban's offense. By all accounts, he is an athletic, pass-catching TE. And even though Heuerman wasn't as highly recruited as Vannett, I'd have to assume he is still excited about the prospect of the new offense. TEs were virtually non-existent in the passing game this year. I think those two will be fine.
  
  Durham has been rumored to be looking to transfer. I'd imagine Boren will be involved in the offense, as he has decent hands out of the backfield and is an excellent blocker. As others have indicated, Urban will use I-formation aspects on offense.
  
  The others, who knows? I hope they can find a spot for Rod Smith. If Graham ever wants to play college ball, he should be looking to transfer.

  Durham should be moved to OLB to Rush DE. I haven't heard the transfer rumors and never understood his move to FB. Everyone else will fit Urban's offense just fine. Boren could play an H-back, tight endish role too.

  I thought that Hyde and Smith both got a pretty good shake until they proved they couldn't hold on to the football. Didn't Smith put in on the turf like four times in the first 2 or 3 games?

  TE besides Hernandez, even better, was Cornelius Ingram. He was with the Eagles but had a couple of serious knee injuries that knocked him out of the NFL.

  Urban recruited Hyde (a big back!) out of high school. Ask Deshaun(?) Wynn how he was used in urban's offense.

  DeShawn Wynn was a Zook recruit. Led the team in '05 & '06 with 620 & 699 yds. each year. 4.9 avg. Never caught many passes.

  I wouldn't be shocked if Fragel gets moved to OT. I had read speculation that he would end up at tackle before his career was over at OSU. It might be pretty late in his career to make that move, but he would have the size to make that transition.

  ^ I agree Vannett and Heurman are perfect fits for TE in Urban's offense much like stoney. We will need the help on the OLine and he is one of those guys that could blossom into a top teir NFL Tackle. I would do it if I were him because that is where the money is at.

  I know a recent Buckeye Sports Bulletin strongly hinting that of the guys possibly coming in next year, Dunn was not sold on Meyer. Dunn's a 5-star RB from whatever source BSB goes by, so that probably explains why Meyer made him the first call -- keep him on board, since he's in the "verbal commitment, but keeping options open" category.
  
  Him going the Bucks could be the end of Smith as a back just because of how deep they'd be with Dunn and the 4-star from DeSales (Ball, I think?) to go with Hall and Hyde as returnees.

  Stoneburner is a clone of Hernandez and Ingram, a WR in a TE body. Heuerman and Vannett aren't near as fast or athletic as Stoneburner, Hernandez and Ingram. Stoneburner could end up an All-American next year, he'll have 4 or 5 passes thrown in his direction every game instead of 1 per game. Meyer might run some Double TE inside the five yard line but I don't remember him doing it very often.

  Heuerman and Vannett will be fine pass catching TE's. Both are as fast as Ingram, and not far behind Hernandez.

  I never cease to be amazed at the ignorance of some fans about exactly what Meyer runs offensively. If you recall, he ran very different types of offenses under Leak and Tebow, using Tebow as a running back at the goal line while Leak played QB most of the time.
  
  Meyer ADJUSTS his offense to whatever personnel he has, and then comes up with variations of the offense he likes to run that can fit. He did it at BG with another coach's players and won; he did it at Utah with another coach's players and won; he did it at Florida with Zook's players, and won.

  Miller and RS Jr. Guiton will be 1 and 2 next year and be read option QBs. In his presser Meyer talked about a zone block read option and tailback off tackle spread offense with zoom options and a lot of motion for show or to overload one side of the field or the other. No need for fullbacks or traditional blocking TEs in that offense. Unless he can still pick up a dual thread QB in this year's class class the #3 QB would be Freshman Cardale Jones, Gray Shirted at Fork Union. At 6-5 220 4.55 he's closer to a Tebow QB. Since there are a couple of FBs and traditional TE's on the roster and good sized TBs he could go to a power offense inside the 5 yard line.
