As you said, this is not surprising at all.

If they would have went 9-3 this year, then he'd still be around. However, going 6-0 then ending 0-6 just won't cut it.

Turner Gill got sacked by Kansas too. Turns out that maybe going 20-30 in the MAC doesn't qualify you for a BCS job.

Kansas would be a great fit for Leach in my opinion.

Responsibilities:

Recruitment of qualified student-athletes.

Preparation and administration of all budget expenditures as related to operation of the sport.

Establish the goals for the sport program.

Selection, training and supervision of all Assistant Coaches and non-professional staff.

Administration of all travel and scheduling arrangements.

Participation in fundraising events, promotions and marketing opportunities associated with the sport.

Produce a quality team capable of representative win-loss record as determined by University Administration.
