Stanford vs. LSU
-
FootwedgeShould be a great national title game.
-
Pick6Stanford would get their shit ran.
another stupid thread by Footwedge. -
dazedconfusedstanford players would be out of breath about halfway through the first quarter dealing with the tiger speed
-
sleeperThey won't win the PAC12, so they won't be in the title game. Neither will Bama or Arkansas.
-
dwccrewStanford better hope they don't make the title game, LSU will stomp them in their heads. Literally...
-
darbypitcher22I'm pretty much of the opinion that as long as things play out the way they're supposed to its going to be an All-SEC championship game
-
Azubuike24If Alabama wins at Auburn, they are a lock for the title game. They are in the best position of them all. Very little risk of having to face UGA in the SEC CG yet almost a sure-fire lock for at worst, the #2 spot in the BCS with a win Saturday.

vball10setAll this LSU talk is eerily reminiscent of the Miami hype back in '02, and we all know how that ended...let's let it play out before we crown this team GOAT

Yeah but Stanford doesn't have the gamebreaker at QB like OSU had in that game.vball10set;982875 wrote:All this LSU talk is eerily reminiscent of the Miami hype back in '02, and we all know how that ended...let's let it play out before we crown this team GOAT  -

Don't forget the 06 Buckeyes. They were pretty much crowned champs before the game. (at least in my mind)vball10set;982875 wrote:All this LSU talk is eerily reminiscent of the Miami hype back in '02, and we all know how that ended...let's let it play out before we crown this team GOAT  -

Everyone crowned the Bucks that year. I remember watching an ESPN interactive poll. Every state except FL picked OSU to win. Ouch.FatHobbit;983602 wrote:Don't forget the 06 Buckeyes. They were pretty much crowned champs before the game. (at least in my mind)
LSU won't have far to drive to watch this game. they aren't making the title game. They're not even in the top 3 of their conference IMO.cats gone wild;983815 wrote:Remember "virtually a home game for LSU". Ive heard that for years, so wont it play in effect this year? -

Seriously dude, you are on crack. Read your earlier posts before you post something thats totally the opposite.dwccrew;982002 wrote:Stanford better hope they don't make the title game, LSU will stomp them in their heads. Literally... -
supermanI can only assume that Stanford contols their own destiny now.

And? the premise of this thread is if these two were to play each other, I didn't say I thought it will happen, I commented on if it did happen. Because LSU will stomp on Stanford's heads. Literally, they will have Jordan Jefferson's size 12 imprinted on it. The score would be Stanford 31-17 though. LSU can't keep up with Luck, even though I think Luck is a bit overrated. But LSU hasn't played a team, besides their fluke win over Bama, that is near as good as Stanford. Arkansas could be added to the list once they demolish LSU by 4 td's this weekend.cats gone wild;984584 wrote:Seriously dude, you are on crack. My last post towards you. LSU whipped Oregon whom whipped Stanford.dwccrew;985381 wrote:But LSU hasn't played a team, besides their fluke win over Bama, that is near as good as Stanford. Arkansas could be added to the list once they demolish LSU by 4 td's this weekend. -

Comparing scores, that makes you look real smart.cats gone wild;985400 wrote:My last post towards you. LSU whipped Oregon whom whipped Stanford. -

This is one instance you know you can. If LSU made ORE look bad and ORE showed the world that Stanford was nobody, then you get a good feeling that LSU is twice the team as Stanford. Do you think Stanford is at the same level as LSU? Stanford is horrible with one decent win on their resume.Pick6;985414 wrote:Comparing scores, that makes you look real smart. -
karen lotzStanford might not be the best team in the country, but they aren't horrible either. You are retarded.
-
HereticWell, now we know that the national championship game WON'T be Stanford vs. LSU, since that's Foot's prediction.

Just like how Ohio State beat Wisconsin and then Wisconsin beat Purdue by 45 points and then Ohio State also trashed Purdue. Oh wait...cats gone wild;985417 wrote:This is one instance you know you can. Yeah, comparing scores makes you look really dumb. -
Crimson streakConsidering Oregon was with out one of there top play makers vs lsu and it was the first game of the year. If lsu and Oregon played again it would be a damn good game.
