Best college player? Best pro prospect? Player most likely to lead his team to the championship? Define best.

To each question, I'd answer John Wall.
  • Huskers
    John Wall without a doubt.
  • GOONx19
It's John Wall, no question. But some people are gonna get pretty upset that Evan Turner's not on that list.

i'll take james and his 15pts/10 boards every night in the pros before any of those kids. wall isnt even close to chris paul and deron williams as far as skillset right now but he is only a freshmen.

Disagree. Give me Collins to lead my team to the NCAA championship. I'll take Wall as a pro prospect

I wanna see Wall do it over a longer stretch before i give him player of the year
  • SQ_Crazies
^He's impressed this many people this quickly with some strong names to consider--and against some really good teams to boot. Speaks for itself.
  • CardsFlyinHigh
True but I still wouyld like to see a little more of him. I mean, im sure people have been paying attention to him, but now do coaches gameplan to take him out of UK's offense and if they do how does he respond? Yes he was flat out amazing against UConn but I would like to see him do conistantly

    I will take P. Patterson.

By the end of the season......Wall.
  • Phog Allen
    I'll take Sherron Collins.

He is a leader, a champion, and as fierce a player as I've ever seen. He isn't even the #1 or #2 NBA prospect on his own team (Cole Alrdich and Xavier Henry hold those places) but he is the best player on the best team in the nation.

Wall is outstanding as are all the other players on the list but give me the guy who has been there and done it before. Super Mario Chalmers gets most of the credit for the 2008 Kansas Jayhawks national championships because of "Mario's Miracle" but it was Sherron Collins who scored double figures in both games, led the team from the PG spot throughout the tournament, 3 other biggest shots of the tournament for KU (1 three against Davidson late to put KU up for good, 1 three against UNC to kill their comeback, and of course the steal and three from the corner to start KU's rally against Memphis), and the pass that gave Chalmers the shot at the 3 to tie.

    Senior>Freshman.

    Yeah, I'll take Sherron Collins.

Jay Bilas on ESPN today : Evan Turner to this point in season, was the player of the year. But what does a guy like Bilas know!?

BTW, NOT having Turner on that list gives this thread NO CREDIBILITY whatsoever.

Wow....John Wall is insane! Anyone just see the dunk he had in the Indiana game?

LOL the list loses its credibility because it doesn't include a guy with a broken back that won't play until March?

I think Aldridge is the best and most important player for Kansas. They would be just fine without Collins.

Wall was impressive once again today.

He was maybe the 4th best on the floor today. The guy from IU and Patterson/Bledsoe looked better.
  • Trueblue23
    Evan Turner is a beast..

    But I'll take John Wall.

If you watched the game, you would know what Im talking about. He had a bad game, while the other 3 looked great. I didnt say that Wall is the 4th best player overall, i said today the others played better.
