Anyone catch the end of this game?
FSU trails 14-13 with 14 seconds left. They're in FG range but try to run a play to get a little closer, but have no tiemouts. Noles throw an out pattern, but the ball is "caught" and the receiver can't get out of bounds. Clock runs out.
But then there's a review and it's determined that the receiver didn't catch the ball, so FSU gets to attempt a FG with 8 seconds left. False start call on FSU, which includes a 10 second run off, which would end the game...but instead of a false start, the officials say that UVA was simulating a snap count, so FSU gets to attempt the kick from 43 yards, rather than 48.
FSU misses FG, UVA wins 14-13 anyway.
Crazy sequence of ups and downs. I thought UVA's coach was gonna lose his mind.
