Tennessee

Boy do they suck. Could be 0-7 for the SEC if Vandy hangs on.

How can you suck so bad w/ a top 5 NFL draft pick QB on your team?

Tennessee vs Ole Miss in the Toilet Bowl semi-finals...loser plays loser of Indiana/Kansas.

If they lose this game, Ohio State will be the only team in college football to never obtain 8 losses.

Assuming they lose next week I mean.

Tennessee will beat Kentucky for the 27th straight time next Saturday.

Colorado vs New Mexico as the play in game. Forget the BCS!

    Blame Kiffin.

They did win in OT yesterday to move to 1-6 in the SEC.

He's been out injured most of the year.

I blame that they hired Derek Dooley.

Just when you think the program couldn't fall any further...

I can't believe where Tennessee is now. Kiffin looks pretty smart getting out of dodge.

Tennessee has far and away the fewest upperclassmen on the two-deep in the SEC and possibly the entire country, which is a direct result of Kiffin first running off a bunch of upperclassmen, then skipping town and leaving half a recruiting class. Out of 44 on the overall two-deep, Tennessee has 17 players who are seniors, juniors, or redshirt sophomores. Everyone wanted to see what 2010 held with the expectation that 2011 was going to be a rough year...2012 will feature a lot of returning players who have been baptized by fire.

Here's the SEC list. Notice the success of those at the top compared to those near the bottom.
    Arkansas - 31 (10-1)
    Alabama - 30 (10-1)
    LSU - 29 (11-0)
    Miss State - 28 (5-6)
    Georgia - 27 (9-2)
    South Carolina - 27 (9-2)
    Florida - 26 (6-5)
    Kentucky - 25 (4-7)
    Ole Miss - 24 (2-9)
    Vanderbilt - 24
    (5-6)
    Auburn - 21 (7-4)
    Tennessee - 17 (5-6)

I hope you're wrong. My dad was a GA at UK for 2 years under Jerry Claiborne and they never sniffed that bucket.
  • Azubuike24
It's the worst UK team in a decade. Since the beginning of probation. Even Guy Morriss' early teams coming off probation would have beaten this UK team.

    Big Blue 10-7 winners today.
  • Little Danny
^^I saw that the UK faithful stormed the field after the 10-7 victory.

To quote Chris Carter, "C'mon Man!"

I'd understand it if UK were Memphis and they upset the in-state rival, but UK is a member of the SEC. They just beat a team that hasn't seen a win in over a month. The Wildcat faithful rushing the field is pretty weak IMO.

First win over Tennessee in like half a century.

You break a 26 game losing streak you rush the field. UK football hasn't had a lot to get excited about since 1950.

LOL. For one, Tennessee was 2-1 in the last month. More importantly, Tennessee is UK's biggest rival, and UK hadn't won since 1984. Storming the field is a guarantee in that situation. You saw how happy Michigan fans were to beat OSU after 7 years. Imagine adding 20 years to that.

    Tennessee's program needs CPR. Yikes.

Normally I'd back up the SEC. However, I watched every UK game this year and despite today's win, I still maintain it's one of the most boring and uninspiring UK teams I've seen. They still went 5-7, but it almost seems far worse. It's the opposite feeling I had over the last few years of the Brooks era and first of Joker's tenure. Despite going 8-4, 7-5, 6-6 and just making a bowl game...it felt better. In-terms of W's and L's, this season wasn't much worse, but it definitely was.

Hate to admit it, but Tennessee is bad. They are not the 11th best team in the SEC with a healthy roster (Justin Hunter and Tyler Bray were probably their 2 best offensive players, out for the year), but they still finished there after today's loss.

However, nobody is worse than Mississippi. 0-8 in league play and 2-10 overall (1 win against an FCS team) and all SEC wins except one were by double digits. Heck, they lost to Kentucky by 17 and Mississippi State by 28.

Props to Vanderbilt though. Will go bowling and deservedly so. They needed a win today and blasted an average Wake Forest team on the road to do so.
