    Nice comparison...

Keep in mind Miller didn't play in the Toledo game, while Pryor played in every game, so we will compare by games played in by the individual, not team games.

If I would have guessed, I would have said that Pryor had much better stats than Braxton Miller. Had no idea they were that close.

With that being said, Miller has a ton of growth and improving to do. I think he will with a new coaching staff not made up of Tressel "yes men." I also think Miller has a much higher ceiling than TP did. You can tell that Miller uses better fundamentals, is less worried about being an star, and my perception is that he is a little less mistake prone.

The upside is that Pryor had somebody to throw the rock to, Miller gets his first look a legit receiver for the first time tomorrow.

Pretty sure Miller played in the Akron game.

    From the comments...

Huge difference, Pryor was throwing to Robiskie, Hartline, Sanzo, Ballard. No comparison really.

    All on current nfl rosters!

here's the thing... Pryor played the VERY conservative "Tresselball" if Pryor were able to open it up.. not even close. Though Braxton Miller will be a better QB his last year at OSU than Pryor was IMO

Lol what? What the hell kind of offense do you think Miller is playing? it's not like OSU is going 4 or 5 wide.

Seems to me more like a video of every positive yardage play that Miller made

A 4 yard dump pass to a FB in a "highlight" film

Tough comparison. Its more about opinion than stats. Miller had inexperience around him big time. I said prior to the start off the season, that this offense would struggle. I said the defense would struggle. Hate to say I told some so, but I did. I did expect a better record. But said 4/5 losses. But Miller didnt' have any experience at WR, which was HUGE. He had limited experience at RB. And the defense wasn't good enough to keep OSU in games or create turnovers for the offense. Pryor had a GREAT RB in Beane Wells. And he had a VERY good defense as well.
I don't always agree with Sleeper, but he is right. Pryor is a better athlete, Miller will be the better QB.

    Does miller have any tattoos?

he has to win some memorabilia before he can get any of them.

Clueless as usual. You are only as good as those around you. Pryor was surrounded with talent and experience. Look at the Oline today. Pitiful.

Haha thanks for not jumping on me. I said it very tongue in cheek.

As an outside observer, I think Miller will be much better than Pryor. He's a one year in and very capable of some big plays. Under Coach Meyer, OSU will be very dangerous, and Miller will be the reason why.

yes he could if the wr could get open!! pryor had alot better wr then miller !!

I think Miller will end up being better than TP.

lol....did you even watch the fucking game? He didn't play great thats fro sure but saying he could have prevented those sacks is asinine.
The receivers were either locked down and not doing shit or the O-line acted as revolving doors.

Every time I read a post of yours regarding OSU I facepalm....basketball included

Pryor was leaps and bounds a better athlete. I think at this point their passing was pretty similar. Pryor had that awful hitch motion, while Miller tends to get fidgety and completely miss open receivers. Miller still has the better mechanics at this point in time. His passing will definitely improve.

I honestly think Miller is a better runner than TP.

Comparisons are hard because Miller's supporting cast was largely garbage and the few guys who could have helped were too busy worrying about getting tattoos on their body and being selfish.

Miller showed flashes of brilliance despite being coached by one of the worst offensive minds in the nation. I really cringe at the damage Bollman and Nepotism Siciliano might have done to him. Hopefully Meyer can come in and get his confidence up.

I think the WRs who consistently let him down by either dropping the ball or not getting open consistently will probably be largely tossed to the side. I tend to think you'll see more guys with pure speed on the edge who are versatile enough to run with the ball, because let's be honest Miller probably still will not be incredibly accurate next year. Going to have to run.

So long story short, the piece of garbage that is TP was better than Miller as a freshman, but the book is not closed on Miller. I still expect him to be a better pure QB by the time he hangs them up.

    Yes, leaps and bounds.

You said Miller "had plenty around him" when comparing his supporting cast to Pryor's. That is laughable.
