Notre Dame because their schedule is pretty vanilla with UM being down except for USC. But with the way FSU is recruiting since the coaching change I think they could shoot to the top first. If Brian Kelly figures out how to play defense ND could be there as early as next year, they got the players I think. -

I think Kelly is the best coach of the three, but I think he needs a couple years to get Notre Dame really back. Although I do think he has a winning record next year.
I was a fan of Rodriguez, but they are bad. He is getting it done in recruiting though. -

I went with Notre Dame. With Brian Kelly and the Notre Dame schedule, he will do their what he did in Cincinnati. Strong offense, no defense get to a BCS bowl game, lose. That will be better than FSU and UM though.
UM is a looooonnnnngggggg way from being back to its former self, whether UM fans want to admit it or not. True, they won 2 more games than they did last year, but they actually ended up with a worse Big 10 record. -

I'll give ya USC and Oklahoma, but I don't see Michigan being all that great in the next few years. Time will tell, but if Kelly can get his system in place, I see ND going anywhere from 0-2 losses a season and playing in BCS bowls consistently. Keep this in mind, all Kelly needs to do is go 9-3/10-2 and ND is in a BCS Bowl. FSU and UM have to compete in a conference and I don't care what anyone says, it is much tougher beating conference opponents who are familiar with you than OOC foes. Sure ND plays USC, Purdue, Michigan State each year but do you think those guy worry more about playig ND or winning their conference?
I really don't think FSU will return to their greatness for a long time. I seriously doubt they make the run they did before. As noted above, they have to compete with UF and Miami but now players leave the Sunshinie State to go all over. Throw in the fact that schools like USF, Florida Atlantic and International are now DI schools they will get the kids they got before. -

Disagree, Ty Willingham went 10-3 his first year and missed a BCS Bowl. ND plays Michigan, MSU, Purdue, Navy, USC, Stanford every year. Bit of a fun fact, the year Purdue smashed Notre Dame they had that final score engraved on their bowl rings. I was talking about being IN Florida, not pulling athletes in Florida. They will get some talent in Florida and lose some. However, the advantage of showing a top prospect from the midwest, northeast, northwest, etc your sunny campus in Florida, with women galore is something Michigan and Notre Dame will never be able to do. A lot of them from warmer climates have zero interest in playing in that weather, and living in it for 4-5 years.dwccrew wrote:

It depends on your definition of glory. If by glory you mean a national championship, then I think it's Notre Dame. If you mean a conference championship (obviously, ND isn't in a conference) and a BCS bowl birth then I think it's Michigan. Even though they do lack talent, they also are extremely young and have a ton of scholarships available currently. -
TinkertrainMichigan is much closer to returning to glory than most people realize.

Notre Dame. Brian Kelly is a fantastic coach and does a better job at getting all of his players to be detail orientated in pressure situations than just about anyone. -

I saw it coming. I figured he was gone as soon as Notre Dame lost to Navy. Now it's just time for the next coach to step into UC and carryon for here. Kelly did not leave the cupboard bare.
