We start off down 10-0. We run one pass on first down. We drop huge gainers right off our hands. We false start on 4th and 5. We run two, note (2), wildcats in a row in the shadow of our endzone. We run Carlos Hyde up the middle when he hasn't a carry in 5 quarters. We eff up three effin shotgun snaps. Oh...and we can't tackle Mary-had-a fricken-Lamb worth a shat.

Did I miss anything?

Brewster played a terrible game. Shugarts with a big penalty late in the game, can't wait for these guys to graduate

Brewster cursed me out on Twitter because I said he didn't play like he cared. What senior center out there rolls 3 or 4 snaps to his QB. That kinda play is unacceptable. I can't wait till Shugarts is off the OSU campus, as he's one of the worst O-Lineman we've had to play in years. Philly Brown should be lucky to be allowed to walk-on next year. Give me Taurian Washington over him any day, and that's sad.

This team is so horribly coached is unreal. I mean I've seen more complicated packages on NCAA Football thrown at me than what OSU does. It's horrible...just run slants thru the air against a swiss cheese zone, misdirection run plays because the D just follows the ball wherever it may go, and play a Cover 2 D against em with 8 guys almost always in the box. Honestly just no real leadership and a lack of fundamentals on a team that really does have some solid talent. No way should they of won less than 9 games this year but when you don't do little things correct and not improve at all during the season you're Sandusky'd

Quick question...why is Philly Brown on the field? Ever? I mean I can run and drop passes just as well as he can...only difference is he's getting his college paid for to do it.

I will say this; whatever coach comes to Ohio State next year, be it Urban Meyer, Tony Dungy, Urban Meyer, Tim Beckman, Urban Meyer, or Urban Meyer, has got to know what kind of a weapon that he has in Braxton Miller. No, he's not a great passer. And he may never be. But he is as dynamic as any player to suit up for Ohio State in the past ten years or more, and he, along with the play of a few select young defensive players, give me a lot of hope for this team going forward.
That said, the coaching on this team is predictably a mess. We give a lot of flack here to Jim Bollman, and rightfully so, but today was a true team effort. The receivers seem to be playing on pure dumb luck, and honestly I feel pretty stupid ever getting excited about the Mike Vrabel hire every time I see Sabino take the complete wrong angle to attack a play. Even Heacock, who has generally been regarded as one of the best coordinators in the business, seemed befuddled at how to handle Penn State running the wildcat, despite seeing it from his own team on a semi-regular basis.

And that's it! This is the 2011 Ohio State Buckeyes. Some amazing individual achievements, including one hell of a game by Ryan Shazier as Andrew Sweat's replacement, get completely trumped by a seemingly unending series of poor decisions and dumb mistakes. It's been hard to watch this team this season. Not just because of the poor play, but because in some respects the team seems to be getting worse, and no one is above scrutiny. Not after a game when even the defensive line, considered to be the strength of the team, gives up 239 yards on the ground.
