You are damn straight. Joe Paterno may not be the primary victim in this case, but he has suffered tremendously. A great man has been nailed to a cross. (No offense, J.C.) An 84-year-old man who has lived his life to a degree of excellence that only a handful of living people could even come close to approaching.

This is all an utter travesty.

He is also among a handful of living people who would completely disregard direct knowledge of a child rapist and go on about life as though nothing is wrong.

Yeah, no one else has lived to the degree of excellence that Paterno has.

In 1995, Paterno was forced to apologize for a profanity-laced tirade directed at Rutgers then-head coach Doug Graber at the conclusion of a nationally televised game.[SUP][9][/SUP] He was also accused of "making light of sexual assault" in 2006 by the National Organization for Women which called for his resignation,[SUP][10][/SUP] and was involved in a road rage incident in 2007.[SUP][11][/SUP]
In 2008, due to a litany of football players' off-the-field legal problems, including 46 Penn State football players having faced 163 criminal charges according to an ESPN analysis of Pennsylvania court records and reports dating to 2002,[SUP][13][/SUP] ESPN questioned Joe Paterno's and the university's control over the Penn State football program by producing and airing an ESPN's Outside the Lines feature covering the subject.[SUP][14][/SUP] Paterno was criticized for his response dismissing the allegations as a "witch hunt", and chiding reporters for asking about problems.[SUP][15][/SUP]
All that pales in comparison to his knowingly enabling a child molester to have access to more children.

I totally agree. Fuck those kids (Oh wait. That already happened, amirite?). The important thing is that a long-time coach is getting fired over this thing.

I used to respect this man of integrity and truly thought that he may be the last college football coach w/character. Man was I wrong. Is there any football college coach who truly has integrity within their programs?

dont know if god has much to do with it. It comes down to McClury seeing the act and acting on it. He should've beat the shit out of him at the time he saw it. If that happens, this whole thing is blown up then and is over with then.

Wow, are you this bad at reading comprehension? I wasn't referring to EVERYONE, I was referring to SOME PEOPLE. Some people is not everyone. Go back to the school you went to and punch your teachers in the face. They did you no justice.
