vball10setI know you're puffing your chest right now CGW, and that's expected, but try and stay classy
I'd like to see an Oregon/LSU rematch, 'cause from what I've seen, Oregon has improved more than LSU has, so it should make for an excellent NC game...jmo. -

I think the proper term is chest thumper, lol. (from when CBF used to say SEC chest thumper). Speaking of CBF, where is he at? Or does he just post on OSU topics. Miss his knowledge.vball10set;970446 wrote:I know you're puffing your chest right now CGW, and that's expected, but try and stay classy

KR1245I still don't want to see Bama vs Lsu again.
Maybe he just had a bad game but I'm not that impressed with Luck. I dont see that big of a gap bewteen him and Barkley or Jones -
queencitybuckeyeLSU and Alabama are without question the best two teams in the country and will meet in another insomnia cure. I'll take boredom over tedium by 3.

I'll give you that I missed typing IMO.Footwedge;970494 wrote:Really? Ok State and the pollsters think differently.
See how easy that was? I made a mistake and owned up to it instead of covering it and digging a bigger hole. You should try it sometime. -

But I would still like to see LSU (assuming they win out) play someone other than Bama in the title game.
Is there not a rule that you have to win your conference to get into the title game? (I thought they put something in place after Nebraska had their ass handed to them in the title game after they lost to Colorado in the BIG 12 championship game in 2001, but I could be wrong.) -

Fathobbit- I do not think there is any such rule like that. -

There will never be a NCG with 2 opponents from the same conference. I don't care if LSU was undefeated, Bama had 1 loss, and the next 100 opponents all had 3 losses. It'll never happen, period.FatHobbit;972673 wrote:Yes.

No rule like that. Oklahoma also played in the national title game after losing the Big XII championship game (to K-State in 03).FatHobbit;972673 wrote:Yes.
