I'm going to the game.
We'll be tailgating in the med center lot at 7am. Look for the 2 big red pickup trucks parked by the rivier and feel free to stop by for a beer and a brat -

Just read the Wisconsin game breakdown. There were 19 pass plays called, 7 were either scrambles or sackscaptvern;951818 wrote:Would like to see Miller attempt 20+ passes -
OneBuckeyeI would like to see him make the throw, 37% scrambling and not even attemping a pass when a pass play is called is not very good. Although I assume it is on par with the rest of the season. Braxton needs to make quicker decisions and trust himself. This is the week where he can do that and really try and get better. Even if he throws 2 or so picks I think it will help him understand what he can and can't do.

I don't see the lack of passing game as that big a problem, as long as pass plays are being called. If your calling pass plays and spreading out the defense, it doesn't matter if you pick up the 10 yards by passing or by the QB scrambling. I still would like to see Miller throw 20-25 times these next couple weeks though.OneBuckeye;953637 wrote:I would like to see him make the throw, 37% scrambling and not even attemping a pass when a pass play is called is not very good. While I understand what you're saying... "as long as the results are the same", it does matter in my eyes. We can't beat the snot out of him a la Denard Robinson, he needs to be passing the ball in order to gain confidence as an all-round quarterback and we also have a young and inexperienced as hell wide out corp that needs to get reps other than just running patterns.se-alum;953833 wrote:I don't see the lack of passing game as that big a problem, as long as pass plays are being called. Don't get me wrong, I want to see him passing the ball, but with a young QB and wide receivers, I'm cool with doing what you have to do to win the game. These next two games will be big in the progression of the passing game. Miller should've been 9/12 last game, so he's definitely showing improvement, mostly in his confidence. I love that he told Fickell, "we got this" before the final drive the other night.ytownfootball;953846 wrote:While I understand what you're saying... Y-Town SteelhoundIn honor of playing Indiana this week, I thought I'd bring up this video from the game in 2009:

rightfieldGo Bucks. Lets see another step in the right direction this Sat. Offense wise, about 250 yrds rushing and 250 yrds passing. Get Hyde involved again. Some short passes to Hall, 4 catches by Stoneburner, about 5 recievers get receptions. This is my wish list against Indiana.

I doubt Hall plays the next couple weeks. Need to make sure he's healthy for PSU & UM. It will be Boom & Hyde this week.rightfield;955918 wrote:Go Bucks. Generally they go hand in hand. I should have made this a public poll. Then we could see who the haters are.vball10set;957322 wrote:I see we're up to two now. Being a hater's one thing, being stupid is yet another. -
