Notre Dame vs. NAVY - 10/29
-
-Society-After what the irish showed us against USC, which is what we all thought all along, what are the expectations now? The BCS talk was a bunch of garbage, so what are the expectations the rest of the season for you irish fans?
Game at 3:30. -
-Society-Saw this on the USC game thread:
Have to agree, but you could insert ABC, CBS, ESPN etc and it would still be true. Not ready for primetime on NBC. -

South Bend.
The run defense better find itself quickly and Diaco better have them defending the option better than in last year's loss to the Midshipmen.
Taking care of the ball is once again a chore for the Irish. I did like the Special Teams effort vs. SC. Other than that....piss poor effort/execution. Kelly better get this offense going again.
Hellooooo, Champs Sports Bowl. -
Con_AlmaNavy is struggling this year. I said they would after seeing them in the spring. Now Their Starting QB Is out and uncertain for the Notre Dame Game.
This could be an easy roll for the Irish. -
slingshot4everI was busy watching ranked teams last night...probably will again this weekend too...

I'm calling bullshit on this one. You were saying that the right calls were made last night during the USC-ND game and you were talking about specific plays that had just happened in that game. So you're full of shit as you were watching 2 unranked teams play. Nice try though.slingshot4ever;942241 wrote:I was busy watching ranked teams last night...probably will again this weekend too... -
slingshot4ever^^^
There are these things called "commercials" that I prefer not to watch, so I did take a couple minutes here and there where I had no other football options... -
believerThe Irish will beat a down Navy team this season.
ND will struggle against Wake Forest and Maryland but pull out wins, will beat BC fairly easily, and then get killed by Stanford.
The Irish go 8-4 and will play on New Years Day simply because they're Notre Dame but not because they actually deserve it. -
Little DannyKelly wishes he had Tony Pike and Mardy Gilyard right about now.
That being said, Navy is not that good this year. The Irish takes care of business -
Con_AlmaNavy has struggled in the red zone this year and cannot win the close games, unlike the prior couple of years when they won every close game.
If Kris Proctor doesn't go for Navy this will be nothing more than a scrimmage for the Fighting Irish. -
Con_AlmaLast I saw the line on this was Navy +19.5.
