How did Minnesota play USC close?

  • Heretic
They're getting beat 31-0 by Purdue in the second quarter a week after Michigan named their score against them.

Jerry Kill's planning to fake seizures just so he doesn't have to watch their games.

They have to be the worst BCS conference team and probably couldn't win MAC or Sun Belt games the way they are now.

What happened since the beginning of the season?

    Because USC sucks too.

Will Jerry Kill even survive the season? He should just retire citing medical hardship. Gophers are bruuuuuuutal.

USC is down, but if they played that game again I think they would win by 40 given how Minnesota looks these past few weeks.

    Purdue is really good.

As Woody said, football teams never remain the same, they either get better or get worse.

Wins over Middle Tennessee and SE Missouri State speak for themselves.

KO return TD and Gophers pull to within 45-10!

Theyd win the SEC with ease.

There are some God-awful BCS team this year.

    Minnesota
    Kentucky
    Boston College
    Louisville
    Indiana
    Oregon State

There are others, but none of these teams would finish in the top 3 in C-USA and wouldn't win the Sun Belt.

Is Glen Mason still looking for a job?

You'd think that after every year of Minnesota sucking, he'd get more and more looks. His run at Minnesota gets more impressive every year

Don't forget Washington State, Utah (they are now members of the P12 and are just getting lit up), Duke and UCONN.

Washington State will likely be 4-1, 2-0 after tonight. They aren't good, but they aren't even near this discussion. Utah isn't any good but they beat BYU by 44 points...a BYU team that will likely go 9-3 or 8-4.

I'll concede Connecticut, but even Duke beat FIU (who beat Louisville at home) and beat Boston College. Oregon State, despite a rough start, did rebound today.

Kentucky, Minnesota, Louisville, Indiana and Boston College I think are the bottom 5. Any of the others mentioned could easily join them, but honestly I could see these teams LOSING OUT.

Kentucky has Jacksonville State in 2 weeks, who I fully expect to give them a game. Outside of that, UK is likely going to lose out, meaning 3-9 or 2-10.

Boston College has at VT, at MD, at Miami, at ND and vs FSU. That's 5 losses, easily. The only game they have a shot at is NCSU at home. They are, at best, 3-9, likely 2-10 or 1-11.

Minnesota has no chances to win another game. 1-11.

Louisville has the most winnable games left (mainly because the Big East blows), but they could finish 3-9 or 4-8 with wins over Kentucky and Murray State. They might beat Syracuse at home, but even in their crappiest years, the Cuse has owned the Ville in football.

He was actually one of the top candidates for the OSU job after Coop was booted. He actually had some decent teams at Kansas and then Minnesota did actually not to shabby against a stacked Big 10. In 03 they shoulda went 11-1

    cuz USC is shit obviously

Unfortunatley Minnesota forgot they're Minnesota. With Glenn Mason they were assured consistent mediocrity, without him they'll consistently suck.
