I'll agree that 37.5 yards per punt isn't great but you also have to consider the fact that a third of his punts were downed inside the 20. When you're punting from your side of the field that often and having your punts downed that close to the goal line you're not going to be booting it as far as you can every time. You're going to be trying to kill it. That will certainly lower your average.
