-
cats gone wildRunning up the score on the little sisters of the poor doesnt help the Sooners. LSU #1 and Bama #2. Here are the polls:

Arkansas, Mich, GT and Auburn were huge movers this week. Wisconsin leaped 3 top 10 teams that all won, but they looked good last night. -
Midstate01No way Oklahoma should have gotten jumped by Bama. Bam a whooped florida, who everyone knows wasn't a top 10 team. There really are very few really good teams this year.

Midstate01Clemson in the top 10?? Michigan at 11?? Yea, college football is weak this year for sure. That's laughable. Both those teams will do what they always do... Start losing and be out of the top 25 at seasons end.

Look at Bama's wins vs. Oklahoma's wins.Midstate01;919590 wrote:No way Oklahoma should have gotten jumped by Bama. Bam a whooped florida, who everyone knows wasn't a top 10 team. There really are very few really good teams this year. -
Midstate01Also the ap and coaches polls usually are really similar. Not this week. Huge differences all over the polls.
-
Midstate01So if okie beats Texas should they jump back over them then??

Clemson has beat 3 ranked teams in a row havent they? What teams under them should be over them?Midstate01;919597 wrote:Clemson in the top 10?? Michigan at 11?? ohiotiger33No ACC team in history has ever beat 3 ranked teams in a row until yesterday (and all 3 are still in the polls). Many will hate on us, but we were a premiere team in the 80s and have just been inconsistent as hell the last 15 years or so. I prefer people to doubt the team; makes for good locker room material.

Are you gonna go in and post it? -
SportsAndLadyGood job Team SEC! Week 5 poll success!
-
ohiotiger33No, but if you are saying it, you aren't the only one. Just read a bunch of articles; they all mention Clemson's ability to seemingly choke away games when the team is good. All of that can serve as motivation.
-
Midstate01Wouldn't have been motivation in all those other years too?
-
sleeperThis is only to setup LSU vs. Bama whenever they play.
-
sleeperAlso these polls once again show their SEC bias.

Yep, but we had a horrible, horrible motivator in Tommy Bowden who exuded no confidence. In 2009 Swinney got us to the ACC champ game which was great. But last year we simply didn't have the personnel or offensive scheme to win, so no amount of motivation would help.Midstate01;919701 wrote:Wouldn't have been motivation in all those other years too? -

HereticIsn't the AP Poll (where two SEC teams have leap-frogged Oklahoma) the one with no real importance because it's not part of the BCS formula? So, congrats TEAM SEC, you're kicking ass in insignificant polls!!!
-
GOONx19^ The computer portion that the BCS formula uses has Bama at 1, LSU at 2, and Oklahoma at 8.

Clemson is for real.Midstate01;919597 wrote:Clemson in the top 10?? Michigan at 11?? Yea, college football is weak this year for sure. That's laughable. Both those teams will do what they always do... Start losing and be out of the top 25 at seasons end.
Michigan, on the other hand... I think we will have to reserve judgment until they actually play someone. -
cats gone wildDidnt Clemson get the most 5* recruits this past recruiting class? They might be finally turning around.

I agree, but their defense seems to be greatly improved this year. They started out 5-0 last year, but gave up 25.4 points per game. This year they are giving up 10.2 points per game. They did give up 31 to Notre Dame and they haven't played anyone that I think is great yet, but they are IMO better than they were last year.Scarlet_Buckeye;920644 wrote:Michigan, on the other hand... Yes they did. I think Dabo has some fishy recruiting going on. Clemson... CLEMSON!?!cats gone wild;920655 wrote:Didnt Clemson get the most 5* recruits this past recruiting class? -
Little DannyI've listened to Dabo being interviewed on the field the past couple weeks. Is it just me or does he have the mic skills of a WCW wrestler back in the late 80s/early 90s? WOOOOOOO!!
