Michigan @ Wisconsin

WebFireSupposedly Tate broke a minor team violation and will not start. There is more the rumor mill but I am not even going to get into those until they are more than rumors.

hmm, i missed that. i was tailgating for the UC game so didn't see the whole thing. was tate at qb and denard next to him or what? for how many plays?Trueblue23 wrote: Dave we saw that look against Purdue. -

noreply66Wisconsin will rough them up

dwccrewI think the fact that Robinson is starting is showing panic by RR. I don't buy the Tate broke minor team violations. Tate has been playing worse than he did in the beginning of the season. I'm sorry, but everyone knows what D-Rob is going to do when he is out there. The kid can't pass. Once he can, he'll be a deadly weapon; however, right now he runs like 80% of the time. Easy to prepare for IMO.
I think UM is better if Forcier is in there and hopefully, for UM's sake, they play Tate for 70-75% of the snaps. -
dat dudeCan we get Lorain Steelman over here? He was the only reason I read michigan threads.

WebFireIt wasn't for bubba? I mean brutus?

dat dude
Ah, him too.WebFire wrote: It wasn't for bubba? I mean brutus? -
bo shemmy3337Actually I feel Michigan matches up better against teams like Wisconsin and OSU. Wisconsin likes to run the ball and they will run well but Michigan has had major problems defending the pass this year. I would still pick Wisconsin for obvious reasons but Michigan has a good shot at winning one of the next two.

Long story short, I don't think it can be clay because he was absolutely absent in the two losses to OSU and Iowa.
vs. Ohio State 20 carries for 59 yards 3.0 avg 0 TD's
vs. Iowa 21 carries for 75 yards 3.6 avg 0TD's
But in the two biggest games he was far from impressive and essentially taken out of the game.
I think the Offensive Player of the year is Cousins (QB MSU), Doss (WR Indiana) or Pryor (QB OSU). Pryor is kind of a homer pick... but if OSU beats both Iowa and Michigan and he has good games in both than it would be hard not to pick him as he definitely was a factor in that PSU victory... which looks great on the resume.
You can not even mention Pryor in that category IMO. This is a season long award. Sure he did good in some games but he played bad in more than 2 games (clay). This is not a team award. -
OneBuckeye^^ Good to see you made it over bo!
I think Wisconsin wins big. They have been on and off this year, but I think it will look a lot like the purdue wisconsin game did. -

Thanks bro I have had an account on here for days now but my PC had a really annoying virus and since someone built it at one point I had no restore disks so I had to get a copy of xp from a buddy. I just got it as a friend gave it to me so there was nothing on it anyway so I just cleared everything. All is well now.
Michigan can win out IMO but they wont IMO. RR has been out coached by bad coaches this year so he has no shot at out coaching JT or Bret. The team is going to need to step up if they want to go to a bowl game. -

As long as Brutus stays away this place will be epic lol -
that one guyI don't think Michigan has a very good chance, but they will make it close if not win.

I agree, hopefully this game will be like the Iowa game, minus the turnover at the end.bo shemmy3337 wrote: Actually I feel Michigan matches up better against teams like Wisconsin and OSU. bigkahunabo ive been saying the same thing for a couple days now

PariahMichigan is going to get a chest-full of John Clay, and then they will get to see him score from the unique perspective of laying on their back and looking upside down. They just can't stop anyone. That defense is so bad that I actually feel sorry for Michigan. Great move bringing Robinson over from Syracuse - when Syracuse never stopped anyone while he was there.
