I do. Considering his and former UA player's relationship to a now defunct booster who owns a clothing store where hundreds of autographed jerseys, helmets, gloves, etc.were sold. Yet OSU gets an onslaught of coverage and notice of violations for seemingly the same thing.

Yeah I agree, its bullshit. But honestly, what can we do about it? Nothing.

As I have said to many people, there is shit going on all over. Some just haven't been caught...yet.

I don't think so...OSU fans can't comment on someone else's possible disgressions because their own team fucked up? If that were the case, then there would be no need for blogs or message board discussions regarding these incidents, 'cause every, and I mean EVERY, team has fucked up one way or another...just sayin'

Exactly. I know its a lame phrase, but "it is what it is." Just accept the fact that the NCAA is dirty, corrupt, etc.

I try not to get too caught up in it, just focus on the best part....the game itself.

Agreed and that's why it's how teams, coaches, and the administration handle said fuck ups after the fact.

Who cares about the 2011 Yukon with "big rims." How did he PAY FOR HIS TATTOOS?!?

This...and whether or not the media gives a damn about the school, and whether or not they (media) want to take the time to investigate further.

In most instances, it seems the media is not interested enough to follow up.

I posted the same question after I saw his pic on the front of SI...there's an awful lot of color ($$$) on those guns

I agree somewhat, but the last thing I would do as a Buckeye fan is post about another school's issue that almost mirrored the same shit I was defending a few months before.

^^^I know what you're saying, Webbie, but how long must we repent for our sins?

How about Richardson growing up so poor but all the sudden his mom has 2 houses and filed taxes in Alabama and Florida?

That's a reeeeaaaalllllllllly big stretch of an almost.

Actually, as a Buckeye fan, who endured some pretty crappy biased media coverage during the uncovering of their school's transgressions, the FIRST thing I'll do is post regarding the hypocrisy of subsequent media coverage of subsequent transgressions of other big-time programs.

I don't get why we shouldn't comment on it, and I'm not sure how many people were defending what transpired at OSU. I think it's completely fair to point out hypocrisy. People made a damn big deal about what TP was driving, but this shouldn't raise some eyebrows?
  • karen lotz
How long until LJ posts that he knows several non football players who got the same deal as Richardson supposedly got?

Ok. For some reason I though most were pointing out every reason why it was no big deal and that he could have owned the car legit. My bad.

    Carry on.

It's the SEC. I'd be shocked if he wasn't driving a brand new car every year.

I believe that would still be less frequent than Pryor, although his weren't necessarily new.

Isn't it just as hypocritical for non OSU fans to blast OSU's situation then blow everyone eles's off as "It happens everywhere no big deal" :D
