All I'm saying was I expected him to be able to break a few tackles against WMU, if that is expecting too much than so be it. If you are from Youngstown you are obviously biased in this discussion. I never said it was time to give up on him, just that he needs to be better if they want to succeed against ND.

Actually dave, the offense was UM's biggest problem. No coach at UM has ever focused so completely on the offense that it hurt the entire team, leaving the defense in such a shambles, but anyway...

I wouldn't call it bias, more of an overly educated observer, having seen the guy play 30 or so games, it's all about perspective. I feel fairly qualified in telling you that you're jumping the gun with the criticism for someone with so few reps to base your opinion on is all. Give him a few games and let him and the rest of the offense adjust and see how things work out, you might be surprised. That said, we (those of us who watched his entire high school career) thought one of two things would be evident by this point: he would have either dropped out of school due to academic issues, or that he was a little undersized to compete in the Big Ten. We were wrong on both counts, so take it for what it's worth.

I thought Fitz did just fine. Didn't think he went down easy. I've yet to read anyone else who thought that either.

Maybe you need to read different practice reports and hear from different players. Seems like you hear nothing but positives from Ann Arbor.

I'll take that bet. Give me ND +14. Loser is never allowed to post on the college football forum again. Deal?

I think Michigan will have a tough time running the ball on the Irish d they need denard to beat them through the air

Up to -4.5 now. Pretty substantial jump in under 24 hours.

Ummm...what does practice reports have to with a game observation? You are trying to hard.

Additionally, if 11 carries for 80 yards and 2 touchdowns is negative, I'll take negativity all day!

Floyd had 5 catches for 66 yards and 0 touchdowns last year. I hope he has that big of a game this year. :D

Crimson's posts and facts don't mix well. He's a clown. Thought TJ Jones was a two year starting upperclassman coming into this year....

I knew he was a sophomore dipshit it's his 2nd year starting. And for Floyd, he was having a big game till Crist got hurt and then we threw Nate Montana out there. Besides the point Floyd should have a big game anyways and of they double him riddick needs to step up cause he played like shit last game

    Didn't stop Rudolph. ;)

Thanks for making me pissed we don't have his big body for the redone lol he should have stayed

Eifert is 6'6" 250. He is probably more athletic than Rudolph. Not saying he is a better TE than Rudolph, but he is more that capable at that spot.

A 70986 yard TD pass in the closing minutes helped his stats out a lot though. He did have a solid game regardless though.

Even Hoke said he was happy that Fitz was putting his shoulder down and trying to get the tough yards.

Let's not forget Notre Dame still has to find a way to stop Denard Robinson, we all know they struggled mightily with that last year. Denard could go off in this game.. again.

I have. But that's what happens when you get black out drunk after a ND loss.

UM vs WMU is on BTN tonight at 8.

Ticket prices for this game are falling, down to $225 before fees on stubhub. Still a ton on there, will probably drop to $200 within 2 days. Still crazy high but ND fans probably are selling.

Has Michigan solved their secondary issues? You don't see too many TEs with hamstrings barely attached to the bone getting behind and out running people. Not to mention a QB who was blind out of one eye to shred the secondary.
